      $15 for a 2 pack? These should be $2 a piece at most. It's interesting but idk if it's even really worth it. If you're already looping paracord through your gun why not just tie it in a knot and be done with it?

      @@basedhardhands as far as I can figure, it's kind of a cinch. Keeps it cinched down so your loop doesn't get loose

      My issue is the $9.55 shipping for what could be shipped in a envelope in the mail. at $20 for 2 thats half the price just to ship to you.

    A video explaining how to secure the other end to your sling would be highly appreciated.. can’t find help with a clean knot anywhere

    Why wouldn’t you include your preferred knot to attach to the sling? That’s pretty important and would’ve completed the video at least.

    What this doesn't say is how to knot the other side of the sling devil to your sling. I used a double-fisherman's knot and it worked perfectly.

    Why not just tie your paracord to your handguard and stock? Even less weight and free!

      I thought the same thing immediately. But the benefit here is that you can still QD the sling and move it around without cutting and having the redo the cord. It’s really a good idea.

    I just mocked up and printed a couple of these in PLA (won't post the files) and can definitely vouch for the design. I can swing around my AR with these in the typical mount points and they have so far stood up to the abuse. If anyone asks about them, I'll point them your way.

    Q I love you and I love the sling devils but PLEASE make the paracord longer. By the time I tie it it’s way too short to do anything with and now I have to buy new paracord.

      Just the knot is completely sufficient for a lot of people. This just gives a quick detach option for people who want to run paracord and want something better than the existing QD sling attachments.

    I don't really use paracord, how would I attach this to a sling, since now following this example the paracord is open ended on the end I want to attach to the sling?

      I guess you would tie it in a knot and use the clip on sling attachment. Which just further points to "just loop the cord through your gun and tie it in a knot" because that's what you'll end up doing anyway. Lol.

    Ok I know I’m missing something simple here but how do I attach it on the sling side ? Just a knot ?

      I don't have / can't find any d-rings to try it on, but I would imagine that would be the best. Put the d rings on your sling and tie the paracord to that. I've just tested by tying directly to the qd ring on my sling with a square knot and that seems to work well. I'm sure there are better knots out there for this.

      @@cbbbbbbbbbbbb thanks for the info. I have used para cord on my fix and honey badger with just a simple knot that I melted a little bit and it works fine. I just don’t see what these little toys are gonna do to improve what I already have. That being said I’ve ordered two sets. Yes I have a problem.

      It’s a way to have a “QD” option to your existing 550 set up. Depending on your traveling to storage, you may want your sling off. I have slings on all of my hunting guns, except my o/u, for example. However I don’t like dragging them into the range unless I’m practicing some sling work and I don’t like slings cluttering the safe.

    How is this more secure than just making /tying loops and knots in paracord? Your weak point is still the paracord getting frayed, isn't it?

      I’m infantry, and I can’t afford “the fix”. Nor do I have this sling devil. I’m gonna break it down barney style. The idea of this is great. But I don’t feel like giving a class or a powerpoint presentation to my Joes on how to make a knot and use this device.

      I got it when it was a few hundred bucks cheaper when it was new with that deployment money.
      As far as explaining it to Joe’s… I saw more dudes fuck up traditional sling mounts on the issued stocks and sling mount on the front than I can count. This is definitely easier than trying to explain than normal sling slots and BFG slings. Lol

    Your Video paints a picture. $20 for plastic clips! . Your design is dependent on the longevity of 550/ Paracord. You rate your 'Device ' strength @ 550 lbs... So is Paracord. your device does nothing to limit abrasion, or ...anything that Paracord can do. I'm sure there is a market for people unable to tie a decent knot.

    Is this a joke? The whole point of a QD “quick detach” is to be able to quick attach and detach your sling while moving, getting our vehicles, taking off your pack, etc. This isn’t a QD alternative by any means.
