Super inspired and hyped to learn Chipp's mix and movement in general. I'm not that advanced of a player but seeing just how many options he lays out with tightrope active and a knockdown is insane and I wanna make my opponents dizzy.
just had a quick suggestion for the format, i think itd be cool to have an indicator for which patch is currently being shown, cuz sometimes when youre resetting the game state it sometimes gets confusing to know which versions being shown
Possibly the worst update in any fighting game I can remember (started caring about balance in Soul Calibur 2 and playing casually before then). The difference between the optimism of 3.5 and _this_ is just night and day, really incredible how badly they managed to botch this. Yes I play Potemkin, I'm aware I'm as biased as it's possible to be, I'm still right. This update is ASS bro
The video was great! If you want to improve on patch note videos I recommend looking at some of the Beefy Smash Doods smash ultimate patch notes videos, their side to side comparisons are top notch and they always clearly label which side is which patch.
I was about to say this, not the BSD Smash patch notes videos, but the fact that a label of the patch being showcased on the side to side comparisons. I had to rewind some parts when there were comparisons because i didn't catch up on time which version was which, it was worse on characters that i don't know/play often. But in general amazing visual guide, very helpful LK!

Just wanted to say, Elphelt changes go a bit deeper. The bomb vest super actually will detonate off of any move that appears to shoot her gun in anyway (ex: 5h, anything from the rekka, Miss Charlotte). And you can kara cancel the dash out of rekka starter.
Aside from the anomalies (Ram, Goldlewis, Nago, etc), I think this patch is pretty good, at least from a casual perspective. Though competitive play might be cooked with characters like Goldlewis.
Something important about Sol specifically is that they nerfed BR's recovery on whiff slightly, it's much worse on hit/block now, and between its recovery and the 5K nerfs, you can no longer do 236K > 5K from any height afaik. Weird change, but being able to special cancel into vortex and fafnir is there to compensate.
Really well done. The only feedback I'd have is to do timestamps and the scenes where it flips back and forth between old and new it might be helpful to have text in the corner showing which is which.

Been really enjoying the faust changes. It doesn't feel like he really changed much power wise, but he got a lot more fun and his item combos being optimal is something I've wanted for a very long time. So it's cool to see that finally starting to happen.
The editing showing side by side in he beginning of the video should show enemy healthbar when describing dmg changes. It was fine later one so idk if it was a mistake or something. Otherwise it was a good video, keep it up

If you're looking for some constructive criticism, you mention damage values changing but then show them on different characters. While I realize defense also went up, it makes it a little harder to see. Also not showing the exact numbers due to being player 2, makes it just a little more difficult to understand.
Early hit 862 not having a bounce and 842 early hit always sending backwards is a significant nerf to backturn Behemoth Typhoons from level 3 drone oki. Fortunately, you can pickup both of these still, but exclusively through use of Security Cancels.
Ky is pretty bad now. The reliance on shock state in order to do any decent damage outside of the corner hurt him so bad. The fireball buff is nice, but I'd rather have 6h and 6p back. Most characters in this game don't give a fuck about fireballs. Dire eclat was already not that great with how everyone and their grandma just IB's it and now the reward midscreen is absolutely shit. Forget about damage, you can't even set up a CSE after because they're so far away most characters can easily evade it or reflect or absorb. But they let Leo have Turbulenz at -8 with pushback like Dire and he gets huge reward and backturn for free. WTF??? Why are they buffing top tiers like crazy, but Ky over here with a slightly better fireball at the cost of tying and arm being his back. 6h being -13 compared to -7 is so laughably bad. There's no longer any soft pressure reset. If Ky does a 6h in pressure and you block it he has to do a dire eclat or he will die. This makes Ky's offense MORE linear than it already was. Wtf was Acrsys smokin' with this patch? These nerfs were totally unjustified all for a fireball but that honestly he should have had 2 season ago. I'm so mad I uninstalled the game after playing for 4 days straight. This game is some hot garbage. What the fuck is the balance team doing? Why do they keep buffing top tiers and "berfing" everyone else. It's like they let the interns work on this patch. I need a new fg. Guess I'll play some more Tekken and come back if they fix this dumpster fire of a game.

Baiken was already ok for casual and party play, now it's actually fun to corner steal with yzn in tower
