People talking about this and are angry as they should be but like many people I have been telling people for years this is a problem. This stuff happens with every aspect of government every single day, everything they are involved in.
It is probably a 200 million project at best. Imagine what could have been achieved if 500 million was applied to Crumlin children’s hospital. It probably could have had cheap parking for parents with sick children.
That bike shed protects us from the prevailing northern winds, The winds in Ireland are prevailing westerly off the Atlantic, oops. That massive building behind the bike shed makes a great wind breaker. It’s a classic Greco Roman bike shed based on the Acropolis, glass walls on either side with a tin roof. It’s designed to take the printer and 2 bicycles. The printer would not fit in that massive building and is currently under tarpaulin in the car park.
Can we please have a list and costs of all government, council and semi state projects for the last 10 years, I'm sure it would expose the incompetents and corruption we pay our taxes for.
@@InsulatedFox Such a list for government would need to include planning, accruement, staffing, materials , designs and constant bureaucracy. The government cannot even manage pot holes in a road never mind facing up to a detailed audit.
The owner of the building the Royal Dublin Society In 1815 the Third Duke of Leinster sold the mansion to the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) for 10,000 pounds together with a yearly rent of 600 pounds. Among those public Irish Institutions that owe their beginnings to the RDS include, National Library, National Museum and the National Botanic Gardens. If you sell something you wouldn't be collecting annual rent off of it.
What's d problem here?!?! That money isn't gone - it's only in some other pockets! Like TV licence fee, Like water rates, Like property tax, Like carbon tax, Like planning application fee, Like compulsory insurances, and on and on and on... Money from the working people ("out there") into the pockets of some smart people in the "elite" circle... Bicycle shed 😂😂😂 my arse

If a bike shed is managed like this , I can't even imagine how bad the governments value management of the childrens hospital is.
Absolutely shocking.
It is probably a 200 million project at best. Imagine what could have been achieved if 500 million was applied to Crumlin children’s hospital. It probably could have had cheap parking for parents with sick children.
And nothing will be done questions asked and no answers nothing to see here it's government business
