The crazy thing is, she loved the twins all along. Ironically, she ended up dying because she overheard her children wondering about their father and wanted to make them happy. Even when she got stabbed and her life flashed before her eyes, and the flashing started from the moment her children were born. Meaning that this is when her life truly began for her. Even when she saw her children at her show, and smiled people were implying how it was genuine and "different". It's so crazy to see it all come full circle. Such a sad story for Ai, she truly deserved better
@@MemorieMusic honestly I think aqua might find out when he eventually has a confrontation with their father and he tries to put the blame on the kids. I think that would fit in nicely with the story

After seeing it and reading it myself? Definitely hype train tbh. Alot of the fans are (of course) going to say it's a masterpiece, as they do with all media, but as someone who just picked it up for the sake of picking it up -- it's not all that. It can tug at your heartstrings, but it's more of a decent read than a masterpiece. You can read most other manga and achieve a similar effect. I recommend keeping your expectations on the low.
the twist ending was such a shock. the visuals is what shocked me the most. Especially How they use the star in their eyes. Making them shine bright on happy moments. Black when they're down, and of course the moment at the end of the episode. * spoiler park.* The art style was amazing when it was around. All main characters, mother being that she's an idol and they live reat life with her. Only for the colours to go darker on a death and the funeral, especially when a mainly Aqua decided to get revenge. As soon as I saw that scene, especially with the visuals and what they decided to do with the star in the eye. That got me very excited to start watching this series and see where it would go.
They made a great choice making the first episode this long, I don’t think it have the impact it did if it was broken up to like 20 minutes and episode.
Because I didn't have highdive, I was frantically trying to see if other places had it. I was so lucky Netflix Japan had it and the moment I watched it, my journey to find this episode was worth it all.
oshi no ko hit me like crazy. the 1st episode i watched i went straight to the manga and spent a good 6 hours reading the entire thing haha. defo my fav tv show ever
1 Episode in and I'm already had an existential crisis thinking about the struggles other performers went through Whether IRL like The Rev (the 1st Drummer of Avenged Sevenfold) , Chester Bennington (Singer of Linkin Park) or Mike Portony (First Drummer of Dream Theater who swapped in for The Rev after his death in 2009) or Fictional ones like Rika Kawai. It certainly didn't help that I just finished rewatching Wonder Egg the Friday before Episode 1 came out
I only know that when she died I was in shock for like 2 hours that I didnt sleep at night thinking 'why'. Now this is why I need to make sure to check for any sad things and spoil myself to prepare for these things
man i never even expected ai to die so soon but more than that the sudden death of her was rlly shocking and the animators nailed it with the animation like fr i felt it throughout my nerves
I wish we got those glimpses of the future in this episode that appear in the first 10 chapters. Maybe they'll do it in the next? I'm a bit excited for where it goes and might just read the manga
The 90min prologue. This along with The Witch from Mercury episode 0 were emotional first episodes. Also YOASOBI did the OP for both series. Their music is so good. The marketing was brilliant. All the large advertising screens in shibuya playing clips of AI and making the first episode 90min was masterclass. If you weren't familiar with the source material and saw AI dancing and singing on the Shibuya screens and then watching the first episode must have been shocking.
The episode was absolutely stunning from the art style to the story telling the twists and turns and the way all the characters interacted with each other was really good and just from the episode alone it has jumped into my top 5 maybe even 3 shows of all time
Guess production value triumphs actual story and interesting plot. This is what happens when a medium becomes mainstream, and why gatekeeping isn’t bad.
I wanna watch Oshi No Ko (I don’t have any anime streaming sites) and even though I haven’t I just know that it’s inspired me, with the art and storytelling. Like wow the whole story is so shocking from what I’ve seen and I just wow, I hope one day I’ll be able to make something like it
I can't remember the last time i was this invested in a series. For me at least it's one of those landmark series like Eva that has really left an impression.
The 1st episode is so good man. I watched half of it one night and then half the other night and I thought the first half was good but nothing insane but it was also very obvious that the author was building up to something and he had great execution at the end of the episode. Even before the end with the girl learning how to dance, that part of the episode was so well done man. Imo Oshi No Ko episode 1 (its literally a movie) deserves anime of the year. Idk if the anime will continue on at that same level but that episode def deserves recognition.

There was a scene cut out in the beginning regarding sarina and gorou and it will have some significance later on when they explain his full backstory.
I'm not lying when I say the first ep/the prologue is the best part of the entire thing I caught up to the manga in about 3 or 4 days and it's great, not good but great (which is better ofc) But it doesn't get to that level again imo
I just hope that Ai gets reborn aswell and meet up with ruby and aqua again..it might would be a bit weird but that's the only ending i can accept at this point. She deserves happiness and true love.
After the first episode I read the entire manga and it is pretty great. It wants a bit near the theatre arc but the current arc is going to be amazing.
Personally I hate it, the clickbait hype around it. The author writing strategy. They absolutely hype the fuck out of it with Ai as the poster/main characters, turn out it's clickbait, the twin are the actual main. And the author use the strategy of "make the characters so lovable and kill it" to get readers attention. And it work for alot anime/video game, ppl would call it masterpiece if whatever this strategy used.

I loved the first 2 episodes, but I think its still sad about what happened to Ai, but Aqua is finna be the next, Lelouch, Light Yagami, or Ayanokoji, like bro literally unlocked his mangekyo sharingan when he said he was finna kill his dad😭
Watched the first episode as it was released to avoid spoilers and I loved it. I was iffed by the tropes present and I predicted the ending halfway through it but I cried when AI died. That being said, not my cup of tea.
I'm so fucking glad these series is getting the treatment it deserves. The adaptation is incredible, and it's getting more than enough attention. Happy to see one of my favorite mangas reach such a level of success.
I walked into this anime expecting some daily slice of life with ok animation while waiting for other weekly update. I walked out with my heart in shambles, blown away and it was amazing. The story was realistic(to a haunting degree) and everyone could emphatise with a mother trying her best but also someone who wants to chase their dreams. It hit a lot of demographic on the relatable counter.
Im just extremely relieved that im not the only one emotional about the final scene of Ai. I thought it was just me as I have neevr actually cried watching an anime before and it was my first time...
Trust me. It will get even wild from here. What I can say is. It nailed Morden day society. You’ll understand that once you keep watching it. Or those who read the manga. You can spoiled but don’t spoiled the important part. But I can see why it’s on the top of MAL. Despite it getting bombed for a bit as far as I’ve seen.
Master piece or hype train as manga reader I wanna see how this roller coaster of drama plays out, from what they showed in the manga I have faith they'll make it worth it. The moment I saw the cover of this manga months ago I knew it was good. I dont usually praise anime/ manga like this but its just too memorable to me at least.
I saw it in Netflix I ignored it for a few days I checked the anime and I saw it was “most liked” and out of curiosity I checked it out it was all fun and wholesome I didn’t noticed gorou died until I found out that aqua’s past life was gorou I watched it and saw ai get stabbed by the stalker I was quieted by that scene but I was crying inside and when I saw her starless dead eyes it made the sorrow worst and the scene of ai celebrating her kids birthday made it even worst I tried to talk to my friends thinking they had the same feeling nope my friends told me it’s trash and isn’t sad I was too sad to be angry at them now this anime is my ptst I rewatch the scene where the door rung, I stayed still but my souls was screaming telling her not to open the door, when checking Netflix for something to watch I saw the anime one the menu ruin my day at school my friends that was in online told me the anime sucks and another one told me they aren’t sad only one has the same feelings, now I am currently depressed
About the animation, at first i was at a bit of doubt since the manga artstyle is alot detailed, especially the eyes. But its aka akasaka were talking about, of course its gonna be a masterpiece. They nailed the animation, for some reason the sad scenes hit harder than the manga.

Truly a masterpiece. It better stay at number 1 on MAL
I’m sure it will for a bit
Nah, fma fandom gonna spam 1 rating
@@blurzzbee I know but I can always hope 😂
@@blurzzbee Bruh, I'm part of the FMA fandom and I'd still give Oshi no Ko a solid 5 stars.
@@AWACS_Eagle_Eye 5/5?
After seeing it and reading it myself?
Definitely hype train tbh. Alot of the fans are (of course) going to say it's a masterpiece, as they do with all media, but as someone who just picked it up for the sake of picking it up -- it's not all that. It can tug at your heartstrings, but it's more of a decent read than a masterpiece. You can read most other manga and achieve a similar effect. I recommend keeping your expectations on the low.
Respect
That last scene made me speechless, what a first episode.
the twist ending was such a shock. the visuals is what shocked me the most. Especially How they use the star in their eyes. Making them shine bright on happy moments. Black when they're down, and of course the moment at the end of the episode.
* spoiler park.*
The art style was amazing when it was around.
They probably won't reveal the father in this adaptation but damn, I stared at that panel for 5 minutes straight
They will but not in this season atleast
They made a great choice making the first episode this long, I don’t think it have the impact it did if it was broken up to like 20 minutes and episode.
This is just like love and war and spy family a hit wonder riding on hype train. In few years it will go out.
that shot of Ai's dead body hunts me
Definitely teared up on this one, hauntingly beautiful....amazingly excecuted.
Because I didn't have highdive, I was frantically trying to see if other places had it. I was so lucky Netflix Japan had it and the moment I watched it, my journey to find this episode was worth it all.
Damn! These new animes are starting to get more mature and i love it
oshi no ko hit me like crazy. the 1st episode i watched i went straight to the manga and spent a good 6 hours reading the entire thing haha. defo my fav tv show ever
What a wholesome show.
It certainly didn't help that I just finished rewatching Wonder Egg the Friday before Episode 1 came out
So so true! Never thought of that aspect but you’re spot on!
I mean that 90 min for the first episode was really needed cus like if they did like 24 per episode u rly wont get hooked in the first 24 mins
I only know that when she died I was in shock for like 2 hours that I didnt sleep at night thinking 'why'. Now this is why I need to make sure to check for any sad things and spoil myself to prepare for these things
Thanks For making these videos! Your channel rocks!
Thank you so much for watching them 🤟
Saying the first episode was an emotional roller coaster is the biggest understatement of the century.
If you're interested in behind the scenes info and how the entertainment industry works it's great
man i never even expected ai to die so soon but more than that the sudden death of her was rlly shocking and the animators nailed it with the animation like fr i felt it throughout my nerves
I wish we got those glimpses of the future in this episode that appear in the first 10 chapters. Maybe they'll do it in the next? I'm a bit excited for where it goes and might just read the manga
This episode effects me still today. Absolutely outstanding.
I'll save you the time for whoever wants to skip the 11:24 of the video- It's neither a masterpice, nor is it "just hype train". It's good.
coming from someone who is VERY critical about a lot of anime, its worth the #1 spot, hands down
Another hype train . We need platinum end season 2
Tommorow is the next episoded im so hyped cant wait to see where this series goes
As a manga readera and an avid fan of aka akasaka, this will be a masterpiece
atleast 50% of the budget went to the eyes
The story does calm down a lot after the first episode ngl
The episode was absolutely stunning from the art style to the story telling the twists and turns and the way all the characters interacted with each other was really good and just from the episode alone it has jumped into my top 5 maybe even 3 shows of all time
Everything ends up being a masterpiece….
Guess production value triumphs actual story and interesting plot. This is what happens when a medium becomes mainstream, and why gatekeeping isn’t bad.
Definittly will be another Pearl ❤
Cannot wait to look for finish this masterpiece art.
Just finished the first episode and only 1 word came out of my mouth.
*_M A S T E R P I E C E._*
man looking back at it. I think im a psychopath for not sheding a tear at this anime
Best anime ep 1 ever, no cap
I wanna watch Oshi No Ko (I don’t have any anime streaming sites) and even though I haven’t I just know that it’s inspired me, with the art and storytelling. Like wow the whole story is so shocking from what I’ve seen and I just wow, I hope one day I’ll be able to make something like it
Oshi no ko has me hooked, I’ve never been so attached to a character so quickly… even after THAT scene, Ai is still my favourite character
It will take the whole existence of anime by storm
I have read the Manga and watched the 1st episode. It totally lives up to the hype.
As an anime only I’m so excited for what’s next. Manga fans have only said good things
@@414Anime After watching the first episode I couldnt wait longer and binged the whole manga. Its a blast, but reading it was also a big mistake. Now I cant stop thinking about it and everytime I see Ai it breaks me again. That will take some time for me to overcome.
@@zaergaegyr6938 its weird how ai doesnt reincarnate as a kid and just kills the dad
@@sandyk9300 I mean.. the manga is not done yet, it could happen
Totally blew me away! So dark, the twins offer great character development This is truly promising
A masterpiece. Full stop.
i think the marketing for the first ep was also done crazy well cuz they put rie takahashi as ai's va knowing full well shes killed off after the first episode and wouldve gotten not much exposure afterwards, basically luring anime-only fans who know who rie takahashi is into a false sense of security
didnt work on me tho cuz im caught up on the manga already >:D
"wow, wow wow wow" I say while crying my heart out
i just saw the trailer for the anime yesterday and checked out the manga and caught up to it in a day it is such a good read full of mystery and i am waiting for the next chapter to release
There was a scene cut out in the beginning regarding sarina and gorou and it will have some significance later on when they explain his full backstory.
I'm not lying when I say the first ep/the prologue is the best part of the entire thing
I caught up to the manga in about 3 or 4 days and it's great, not good but great (which is better ofc)
But it doesn't get to that level again imo
I just hope that Ai gets reborn aswell and meet up with ruby and aqua again..it might would be a bit weird but that's the only ending i can accept at this point. She deserves happiness and true love.
I was not expecting this to turn into a revenge story. Real shame the mom died
At the moment it's top 1 anime ever at least on MyAnimelist
_British Garnt isnt real, he cant hurt you_
British Garnt:
“Life flashing before eyes?” - Death from PussinBoots
The flash only start when Aqua and Ruby born… she finally achieve a proper Life🥲 she finally learn to love🙂
Love ya reaction at the start
When I first read the manga I had the same reaction
I cried like a freaking baby bro! Done in!
Ngl oshi no ko made me cry more than any anime i have ever watched.
Im just extremely relieved that im not the only one emotional about the final scene of Ai. I thought it was just me as I have neevr actually cried watching an anime before and it was my first time...
i've read the manga before and the anime defiantly did it justice
I rarely cry to any anime but Oshi no ko almost made me shed a tear and made me feel depressed for the next 30 minutes
I loved it so much
You know a anime is god when 3 words are enough to make a man cry
The white flower made my heart drop
The last act of ep 1 really threw us of, huh? Their VAs and and the art style wqs nailed perfectly!
i really enjoyed the first 2 episodes ngl i look forwards to more episodes
