- 50 miles, east to west across the North York Moors. This long distance footpath can be enjoyed as a stand alone route or tagged onto the Cleveland Way to make a circular route back to the Helmsley terminus.
Although not that remote it throw up some challenges of it’s own and I only saw one other couple walking the route

What a great trip. Very well filmed and certainly given me food for thought. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it! North York Moors are stunning
Wow! You walked from somewhere I've been to ,many times to the town I grew up in😊 nice to see familiar views and 24miles in one day is 👊😁.
Thank you - it’s a beautiful area for sure! I’m glad I pushed hard on day 2 but didn’t have much left in the tank and a short day 3 was a nice reward!
Good one..beautiful views and a reminder how gorgeous the area is and that the daily mail isnt normal day in Britain 😅😅
I had such a lovely time on that walk but I ended up with a few ticks - hardly saw a soul outside the villages!
An interesting film and as someone who has done many walks in that area over the years (the ones you mentioned plus the crosses walk and the original White Rose Way), I’d never heard of it. I’m doing the Cleveland Way again on the 26th and may consider it though it’s kind of a shame it doesn’t go from Filey. I guess most people would add on the Wolds Way.
I did think it would make a great start to the Wolds Way -which I haven’t done yet!- is it a good one?
Interesting..i noticed you filled your water bottles in wales and wondered if it was clean enough to drink. This males sense and take electrolytes is good.
I wouldn’t trust any water source in the hills 100% - if I don’t filter it I boil it for cooking but it was ok and not full of soil so it tasted ok!
