Coelogyne huettneriana bloom

Hey guys- welcome back to my channel :) With the warmer spring weather and longer days as I adjust my lights to mirror the longer days, more orchids are coming into bloom. Today’s video is about my Coelogyne huettneriana that has just come into bloom. This is a small sized, cool growing coelogyne that is very easy to grow and bloom. I grow this species completely under my grow lights and it is a division of a larger plant that I divided a few years back. I hope you enjoy taking a closer look at this plant. This one is pretty easy - it grows warm and wet in the summer and then a bit cooler and dry in the winter so it’s not as hard as some of the other cooler growing Coelogyne s :)
