But ironically, what Zavok said to Starline becomes the cause of Starline's downfall. Starline didn't really learn from this issue that the reason why his previous allies are turning against him is because he lied to them, yet he did it again but in the form of propaganda to Surge and Kit (False hatred against Sonic and false motivation to help Surge).
Rough and Tumble did their absolute best to try and catch Starline, unfortunately for them he was more equipped to handle the situation in every possible way. And despite the skunk brothers being badly poisoned by the neurotoxin from his heel spurs they were still able to get out of that sticky situation just in time.
And it's somewhat ironic that it's his similarities to, and connection to Dr. Eggman that _makes_ him so unique. A fanboy who becomes so disillusioned with his idol that he ends up plotting to replace him. His willingness and eagerness to dig into, re-use, and re-purpose old Eggman plans and equipment, his knowledge of the Eggman empire's inner workings, and his self-awareness that catches _some_ of his mistakes, but at the same time leads him to believe himself more capable and cunning than he really is.
God, I lowkey love Zavok for all this. Really knows how to get in people’s heads, always has this air of dark nobility about him, yet never above getting his claws dirty with that brute strength of his. Dude is a freaking WARRIOR, full stop. Also, his voice here is just chill-inducing. Beautiful
The platypus got away and secured a base of his own, the party has disbanded, Mimic on his revenge path, and Zavok is contemplating his next move. What a way to end this miniseries, I liked it and the work you guys put into it(the dubbing ofc)!
That last panel just got BETTER from last time I read it... the line delivery is so immaculately paced. This mini-arc's been such a blast to revisit through ya'll, absolutely incredible work as always! Can't wait for start of next one so bad.
I’m very impressed of how juicy this conclusion came to be. Starline failed spectacularly only to have everything he can acquired, Mimic used the “UNO” reverse card on them when he gave their spot away and Zavok barely survived that Eggman Napalm, although I knew it would take more than that to bring him down. In this episode, it took that entire length of the series for Dr. Starline to realize that with his intellect and access to vast amounts of resources, not only that he doesn’t need the Doctor anymore, but he also understood that he can actually surpass him, by any means necessary. With Mimic now being loose, it’s only a matter of time before Whisper gets an unexpected rematch with her former teammate and also Tangle since they took him down together. I look forward for the next project of what this year of the franchise has to offer.

yall's voicework is just so so so good, each and every time. To the point where not only do the comic-specific characters just HAVE your voices innatelly in my head, but also a buncha others. Your Eggman, Rouge, Amy and Gemerl for instance are just the DEAFULT voices for these guys in my head

Where is the satisfaction in that? Where is the glory? No, Zavok wants to stare Starline in the eyes as he does it. To watch the light leave his eyes as he realizes his plans were all for naught, and that his life is about to end at Zavok's hands.
Love the final part of Bad Guys the miniseries voice dubs where absolutely excellent from everyone especially I love Dr Eggmans voice which sounds closed to the original from the Sonic games. There is a lesson to be learned from this. If you're going to make any secret plans (especially if they involve betrayal), you should make 100% certain that they can STAY secret. Also, this is the first time I've seen Eggman actually use his goggles.
Dr.Starline now realize that he doesn't need to be Dr.Eggman all he have to do is being himself and be more superior and replace Eggman as the main Villain.
God these comics are the best. Even after reading ahead and knowing how this story would end, this whole saga has been a thrill from start to finish. The characterization is on point, and there's no forced overarching plot to speak of. It's just a bunch of scumbag villains going head-to-head and it's awesome
The voice acting here is amazing! Not just here but ever since this series started! I’m really excited to keep on following the rest of the IDW dub! Also extra props to the VA for Starline. He’s now one of my fav Sonic villains and I like the addition of a British accent.
Mimic must be dumb to think Eggman would forget about him if he deleted himself from his database. Once Eggman find out that Whisper and Mimic are still alive, it'll be enough to remind him that he's still failed at his task and started to hunt him down.
When Eggman finally has time to acknowledge that yeah, Mimic is screwed, though unfortunately his desperate tactic actually does work temporarily simply because Eggman is such a busy guy.
Eggman is a busy guy and doesn't oversee most of his badniks. Deleting himself from Eggman his shitlist will insure that the badniks will not try to hunt him down whenever they see him.

Ah, but if he stayed, it would have been so very hard to keep him from falling into status quo sooner or later. And what then? This fresh villain who shook up the status quo and ideologically opposed established characters' worldviews and lifestyles.... just settles into a routine? Humbly accepts that now he is part of the cycles? Besides, he may be gone, and his favorite instrument neutralized, but his influence remained. He left scars that won't heal easily, if ever. His death ensured his legacy and place in Sonic History. It kept him more memorable and distinct. Eggman will always be back for more so long as Sonic keeps being the blue blur. But Starline's time will continue to shine for its impermanence. All of his time in the story, not just appearances over the many years.

I got to say, I wish this miniseries was longer but it was a good way to not only have the comic's various villains play off each other but set up Dr. Starline's plans to be a formiddable rival to Eggman.
My favorite thing about starling is how he is the absolute worst judge of character, especially with how he feels are the key characteristics and the over all Dynamic of Sonic and Tails’ relationship. The portrayal of him here perfectly captures his conceited personality. Looking forward to however you adapt him down the line, keep up the good work as always great stuff.
I really like Rough N' Tumble still, goofy but they're fun and stick close. A mini Team Rocket, I guess I gotta say, I really dislike how after all o that they just give up on each other like that, I know it's for 'yeah, they're bad people' but it felt way too quick, Starline's reasonings being the most stupid. Zavok was a great leader (I can't believe I said that) but clearly not great enough Rough N' Tumble really did do all the work haha
If the Sonic movies need a replacement for Jim Carrey's Eggman they could try to bring Dr. Starline too live action also who would like to see Starline as the main antagonise in a new Sonic game?
i much prefer a long break in between a solid set of videos releasing all close to each other. dont know if you’ll do this format for the main storyline, i’m sure it works better for minis but this is still nice. great job as always
