It’s insane how they have a nostalgic quality yet they’re current. You could put them in the 80s and you’d believe they were from the 80s. They really captured the essence of bands like The Blue Nile and others who make cinematic huge songs.

Super credit to Matty. One of the absolute best performers (band included). The whole experience was one of the best of all time. I've seen Pink Floyd and Celine Dion. This is definitely without a doubt topping my favorite bands of all time. ❤️
One of their best performances this past year IMO. Matty's vocals were top notch and he shined in that outfit. Looking good! Keep it up! Love when he wears a suit too.
Still cannot believe how much I loved this show. I'm still obsessing. I can listen to and watch this all day every day and night for the rest of my life. Sweetest stuff. Thank you #the1975 #mattyhealy #trumanblack
Matty looks great but it’s still so weird sometimes to see him all grown up with grey hair when I still remember seeing that floppy haired little boy head banging around the stage without a shirt back in 2014 lol but I’m happy to see him thriving and that the band isn’t going anywhere 🙌
Rare to see in 2024 a band actually playing and performing everything and being tight as fucking dance biscuits 😮💨 Big up the Cheshire cats of Manchester 🔥💣
He has the pitch correct turned up to 11 most shows these days. Not really a bad thing, allows him to put everything into the performance without really caring about his vocals too much, which equals a killer show for all of us
Wild to see him staggering around to sing "Robbers" looking like he's drunk and going to cry , then just stand right up stone cold to play "I'm in Love With You" like it never happened.
For those who were here, how was the crowds energy? Hard to really tell in the vid, but Matty looks a lil lower energy and it seems like it’s cause of the crowd.
pockets of fans throughout the arena but obviously not like a normal 75 concert where the whole crowd is there to see them, many fans there just to see fall out boy or just to see 30 seconds to mars, etc.
the crowd was okay! definitely much lower than an actual 1975 concert but it was nice seeing small groups of 75 fans soo excited!! haha i was one of them! i was so excited and happy to see them i even cried. i did notice that a lot of people left after the 1975 played though and after they played it was a lot less crowded so i feel like a good majority of the audience were 1975 fans! regardless they played beautifully and Matty and the band are just breathtaking! 🤍🤍
It’s always weird when there’s multiple bands, especially when they aren’t all similar. I went to an iHeartRadio show once where the last performance was Odesza (spelling?) but before them was Death For Cutie. That’s such a random combo I felt like we were the the only ones excited for Death Cab while most everyone else was just vibing waiting for Odesza
You're not wrong there. Matty does seem a bit disinterested ..ha ha . This looks like it was an iHeart Radio gig with a few other bands ,6 songs and a seemingly hard audience.I saw them in Melbourne ,Australia last year. They are so so good.
@@blazwura97 makes sense. I had a couple friends go one year and they revealed they didnt actually know anyone performing and just went for the "experience." Valid reason but I imagine it's kinda demotivating for the performers
@@blazwura97I went to an iHeart once to mainly see Death Cab for Cutie but they went on before the closer who was Odesza. Like that could not be a more different vibe. Death Cab was getting no love obviously and it was a bummer. The only one upside was i ended up winning tickets to see them do a tiny little show the next week with all fans so that was amazing
It is obvious it is a good band, Matty is a precise character, damn and alcohlist young guy, but I think he could give more and be better on stage , of course in better conditions. Who said it is necessary being so out of the lines to sing and be a good singer, Matt?
It's a bit, acting...he's not really drunk. He is really good at it though. 😄 Both of his parents are actors in the U.K. I'd like to see him take on a real acting role one day.
Soy fan número uno de su música yo nací en esa fecha, pero deberian ir buscando otro solista ese carajo en cualquier momento amanece muerto por sobre dosis típico,
I love the crowd shots of the little pockets of excited 1975 fans
I’d be one of those fans 🤦♀️😂❤️
that was me
I'd be one of those fans. Love the 1975
One of them was meee ❤️
😂😂
He is more calmer & peaceful than before
I prefer wild and unhinged matty on stage
They fucking nailed this. Matty's voice sounded very refreshed after the break from the tour.
It’s insane how they have a nostalgic quality yet they’re current. You could put them in the 80s and you’d believe they were from the 80s. They really captured the essence of bands like The Blue Nile and others who make cinematic huge songs.

He actually screamed the "NOW EVERYBODY'S DDDEEAAADDDD" line in Robbers. What a stud.
11:57 - there you go
True. Such a rare thing to find nowadays
Oh thank god I hate that he doesn’t really sing it anymore 😢
One of their best performances this past year IMO. Matty's vocals were top notch and he shined in that outfit. Looking good! Keep it up! Love when he wears a suit too.
Matty: “Maybe I would like you better if you just knew the songs” 😂
I Like him. He is so delightful heartbroken.

They are Amazing im just thinking about buying tickets again now 😍🙌
This was one of the better performances from them, Matty's vocals here was amazing. pity how half the crowd didn't care

@@JMcKaySV I was about to write that I wasnt hearing the auto tune, but during Robbers, yup, definitely there. Kind of a bummer honestly.
I think they muted the crowd for this video, I was there in person and trust me...the crowd was loud and going wild (myself included!!!)
😍 I love this Matty, great group ; I like a lot their music 🥰💓💋
Their music is my medicine ❤❤❤❤
@15:47 I don't remember that drum fill on the audio track. George Daniels sneaking one in, love it.
