I have an idea I think you should do a giveaway the winner wins a free paint job
lots of trash talking on Maaco jobs when you left all the side moldings on. Which is just as bad as leaving a door handle or belt molding on. Looks like there is still a dent in the passenger door, but that happens when you block your filler with a DA and then use rubber durablocks to sand the primer. Just sayin.. But I'd still drive it for sure lol.

I remember back in the early 2000s when Meiko decided to give out paint jobs for $150-$200 you get what you pay for them at ain’t bad just small imperfections don’t matter because it’s a cheap paint job
I had my car painted at maaco and it's definitely not just small imperfections. If you don't pay more for repairs then they will paint the car exactly as it comes in. Meaning the roof, hood, and doors could be completely smashed in and they'll literally just scuff and shoot as it is. Most ppl don't know but they can actually do a decent base/clear paint job but it's like 4x more than the cheap advertised ones.
I don't know how you do it but your paint skill is amazing! I've tried to do some paint repair on my car, it's inferno red crystal pearl Magnum like one of Dave, it's hard to match... the original has depth, mine is more orange and flat even with 4-5 coats of clear. Maybe there is a layer of pearl between the base and clear, I don't know but the paint guy just gave me epoxy primer, base(with the metallic and pearl in it) and clear. I some place I blended it very well almost not noticeable, I know the line it's in a 45degree angle on the rear quarter but a lot of people can't see the difference, on other places it's like a hard line even with misting to blend...

Maaco paints everything with sealer (cheaper than the paint) so that they only have to use the Maaco-computer recommended quantity of the more expensive actual paint. They get very little paint for each car. They do just mask off some things but usually, everything gets blasted like fender wells and under the hood, etc.
Ek hatch has always been a want of mine. And a vtec poppin GS-R swap makes it a winner!

I knew a guy who used to get cars painted at Mako . Then take them back to his own shop and wet sand them . Throw some clear at it , and make it look like a proper paint job . For a lot less money than what a proper paint job costs .
