    In this video we can see some minor flooding happening in Sanford. This was from a video that I filmed today. You can also see the lake bed starting to fill back up with water. This was from a storm that passed through the area a few days ago. The new baseball fields are looking great! The Sanford Dam is located on what used to be Sanford Lake. Sanford Lake is located in Mid Michigan. This footage was filmed on April 2, 2023. This was after the collapse of the Edenville Dam on May 19, 2020. Wixom Lake was rapidly rising due to heavy rainfall and the Edenville dam could not hold back the water. The side of the dam failed sending water rushing towards Sanford Village. The aftermath and damage left behind is devastating. Make sure you subscribe to catch the follow up videos I will be filming.

    My family and I lived in the Inland Empire back in 1969 when because of Massive Snow pack and Rain also sudden melting of the Snow and Rain it Breached Big Bear Dam in the Mountains of Big Bear Lake Impoundment. The Water flowed down into the Santa Ana River were we lived next to we lost everything, I remember my Mother carrying my Older Brother and I out through the Mud and Water, the most vivid is of a Massive Bulldozer pushing Mud out of the way to access the Roads. This is exactly what when you started Filming this Would be the annals of History and saved for the Ages. Great Job my Friend Great Job.

    It's a shame there won't be any hydro electric production with these reservoirs and only recreation. Especially when there is already a big push for green energy and the infrastructure is already there

    • @martyincanuckistan3635
      @martyincanuckistan3635 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Probably not enough flow year round, you need enough torque to spin these units and these damn heights are pretty low compared to most of worked on or seen. A run of the river dam with a dedicated channel/canal would work. But there pricey to build.

    • @poorwhitecountryboy
      @poorwhitecountryboy ปีที่แล้ว

      Marty there was more than enough flow and that dam produced electricity year around, not long before the flood it had major maintenance done to it because vandals decided they were going to throw stuff into it, its a shame truly green energy was destroyed... welcome to the NWO and Agenda21-30

    • @justingizinski1348
      @justingizinski1348 ปีที่แล้ว

      It already was a hydro electric dam before the collapse, Michigan doesn't have huge swings in our water table seasonally it's very consistent, which is why there was several hydroelectric dams on this stretch of river all within 2 counties. They just hadn't been maintained properly as well as conflict with the State government (context, I live 5 miles from the sanford dam, and have a tributary to the Tittabawassee running through my property)

    We are in a Drought right now in Most of Michigan. You spoke about California,I was Born in San Bernardino, California living there until Six years old. We moved here to Michigan because we lost everything in a Massive Flood in 1969 The Mountains Received a Major Winter Snow Fall then in Early Spring We Received 14 Inched of Rain in Big Bear Mountains that in turn Melted all the Snow Pack which The Rain combined with the Melting Snow The Water Came Down the Santa Anna River Bed Which brought Mud (4) Four Feet Deep. It Destroyed What in Termed The Inland Empire. My Mother Carried my Brothers and Sister on Her Shoulders out to a Channel the Bull Dozers made to Rescue The Trapped Families. We Lost Everything as Did Everyone Else so They Moved us all to Flint, Michigan where at the Time was the Wealthiest City in United States because GM was Hiring People so they did what they had to do to start going to a City where Jobs were so Abundant. You could literally leave one job and go to another Business or Automobile Plant and be hired. Then in the Eighties GM Left Flint, Michigan so the Decline was Suddenly a Abandoned Run Down City. Since the GM leaving Flint and the Surrounding Communities have Dwindled down to a mere Run Down City. There is very little there for anyone to Do or Work. So the People left as well for which I never blamed them I worked for a Fire Department and Had a Contractor Business.
