I made one of these systems after watching this video and this works very well. All I could smell coming out of the bucket was Mr Clean, no paint fumes
My question is does this work for any paint or just acrylic does it work on enamel and lacquer paint also?? Great Idea if it works for any paint. Mr. ED Says just have fun modeling
@southpaw5483 yes just fill the water about 3 to 4 inches then pour any scented cleaner of your choice roughly 1/2 inch then give it a swirl and your good to go.
I like that, I have cats and I may make one. I do vent out the window so both would be cool. Does that keep the odet down from enamel and lacquer? LLAP 🖖
I appreciate you sharing, especially since I've been looking for something like this ,( CHEEP ) !👍 I live in an apartment and I have to go outside when I need to spray , and it sucks.. But this would work perfectly , plus it would be easier to put away after using it.. 👍
Hmmm....my wife likes to feed wild birds....same style bucket and we toss one out every 3 months or so. I also have am HVAC system that I have to cut the filter for. I have scraps that cant be used in the HVAC...again, use those (they are the "reusable" style). Now to build the booth!!

@benner-iw8rx Awesome I'm glad someone used my idea.
I have a setup like this using a $5 Lowe's bucket. I never heard about the Mr. Clean tip, gonna have to try it!
My son has a cat and he was throwing away that same bucket so I took it and used it the same way you did. Excellent little cheap trick.
Do you submerge the hose in the water, or does it exhaust above the liquid?
above it only has to be like a inch bellow the lid.
