How I'd gain 40lbs of muscle without fat if I had to start again

    I feel the exact same as you, I hate been skinny so I do eat a lot of foods 4200 calories but it’s hard bro to do it complete clean when you’re a hard gainer anyway. I was 65kg and now I’m 85kg. Bulking for 3 more months but not looking forward to cutting. My maintenance is 3200 but my pt said you got to keep eating more when the scales stay the same - confused

      I feel ya pal… this is EXACTLY the scenario I was in for years. I will say 4200 is almost certainly too much if you’re wanting to avoid body fat. If your maintenance is actually 3200 then 3,500-3,800 would be ideal. You must be training 5-7 days a week if your maintenance is at 3,200? As for the scales… they can stay the same even if you’re gaining muscle (glycogen, meal timing, digestion, salt intake, sleep, scale timing etc) muscle growth is slow so you won’t want the scales jumping up too much

      @@Sam_Stanton yeah I am putting on a bit of fat mate but I just want lots of muscle and when the scales go down I fear losing muscle - I need to work out my maintenance again as it’s probs changed. I’m training 5 times a week. I want this so badly pal

      @@Sam_Stanton I don’t pal unfortunately. Yeah I want to build proper muscle but it’s hard when the scales don’t go up eating 4k calories 😂
