Agent 3 will forever be the stoic one, but she's always hiding the fact she's suffering from PTSD from all her missions. Her passing out after watching 8 and Little Buddy eating calamari is perfectly fitting.

In a lot of the Splatoon 1 news cast dialog you can find out how many accommodations the Jellyfish make for them so that they and the Jellyfish can co-exist in peace. Like making all the water at theme parks minus drinking water into ink on certain days and etc... So it's more likely that there is some form where Inklings can donate their bodies to the food industry when they are gone just like they can donate them to science. So it's highly unlikely that anyone is being snatched off the streets and I don't really imagine that salmonids tast good besides they only ever collect the eggs anyway. Eggs that would really only benefit Jude and Little Jude as protein. Oh and fun fact, Harmony is a jellyfish, Inkling hybrid. Them Jellyfish just love Inklings and Octolings but some love them a little more than others.
