The splatoon agents having a fun day at the beach!
It has been like 7 months since I uploaded actual animation content wow, 4 months in the making hopefully it was worth the wait.
Could've made this in like 2 months but been busy lately irl

Y'know, canonically she's actually incredibly smart. She _skipped turf wars_ to do schoolwork. But I imagine when she's with Captain 3, Neo 3, and 8, she just says "F**k smarts" and does things for the hell of it.
But they just can’t swim, that doesn’t mean water burns them.
I heard that there is skin too thin, and they have ink inside them.
From my view I think the water bleeds inside their body which maybe damage them
Although their baby/ toddler variant probably doesn't have this problem since their skin are not thin enough yet to tranform into squid/ octopus so water doesn't affect them
Just my thoughts, genuinely curious what others takes on it
@@kinzint1514 Honestly, sounds pretty accurate to my own thoughts.
Adding onto that, I personally think that the Inklings and Octolings _could_ swim if the water was SPECIFICALLY filtered for them, which could also be used as drinking water. This would be why the drinks from the concessions don't just burn them from the inside-out, they use that same filtered water when making them so they're safe to consume.
4 is also very optimistic and gives off a very happy go lucky attitude (if promo art is anything to go by, lol)
i like to think theyre probably the most fun person of the agents while stll having their shit together
I like how none of them swim in water because Inklings and Octolings can't swim, and they are using their vacation to chill.
They deserve it
You know, I had a way for inklings to swim without any worries.
I also like how Agent 3 ( the new one) is supervising small fry that is chilling in the water
@Xavier-the-sithyboi. I have developed a Top Secret Waterproof Formula that has to lathered around the skin of the Inklings to repel water, preventing it from disintegrating.

I touched a stove when it was on in curiosity of how hot it was. Got burnt. I am agent 4.

Agent 4 is just being dramatic. She would have to be fully in the water to be hurt. Otherwise inklings wouldn't be able to shower, which they cannonically can do. But honestly, that just makes it even funnier to me.

I think when inklings and octolings shower instead of actual water I think they use their own ink because a shower would probably have the same effect as an ink storm which would definitely kill them.

When I said they get crushed I mean when they’re full submerged in a large body of water, like a lake or pool
If they’re just standing in a body of water like ankle high their feet aren’t gonna disappear

I know it's a running joke, but water doesn't actually kill them or hurt them
really cute and fun! I may have my own differing headcanon on inkling and octoling capabilities to comfortably tread (clean) water vs. (polluted) water, but this is closer to gameplay-accurate lore, and enjoyable all the same! I love the addition of the little baby inklings.
I dont remember but im pretty sure they could canonically touch water and be in the rain/shower but they just cant be submerged (im not 100% sure)

溺れて徐々に触れた部位がインクになって溶けてしまうからそれを少し誇張して表現したんだと思います...！そっちの方がアニメーションとして面白みがあるので。でも、もう少し音は焼ける音にした方がいいとは思いました。ジュっ(焼ける音)て音じゃなくて、ポコッ(沸き立つ音)とかドロッ(溶ける音)という音です

Absolutely Love how you kept accurate to the game lore too that inklings and octolings cannot swim or the die X3 And the smaller details here and there are wonderful!
There are of course some areas to work on the animation, like making some moves faster, they look wonderful though a little floaty, and a bit of smoother animating with smallfry as his animation is a little all over the place. Yet animating a non-biped is tricky enough, and you definitely did an outstanding job with the animation of lil' buddy!!
Keep going strong and improving with your animation too! And stay fresh!! ^w^ ✨ Happy Summer too! 🌻☀

Love the Animation, Just one thing. Inklings and Octolings don't really burn when they touch water like that, Like if they dip their fingers into water they are totally fine. It's when they are totally Submerged in water is when they go splat. So pretty much if there is more water then Ink then they are in danger of going splat.

Technically I'm pretty sure Inklings can put their hands in water and be fine. It's when too much of their body is in contact with water that they explode.
Also dang, is Captain 3 like their mom ? They can't just go grab something to eat by themselves ? ^^' Well no actually, technically we know that at least for 4, her mom is Marie.

I haven't see anybody talking about how you managed to make the little kid inklings actually look canon compliant instead of just scaling down the models and coloring the skin in differently and I commend you for that

Well they dont burn they slowly over 105 seconds dissolve as when fully submerged 120 seconds can peel skin cause visual burns after 70 seconds
