The Marjolein Bastin metal bird candle holder was such a great find!! Some of my favorite and sentimental items in my home are her work. That piece is...tempting 🤔 And you bought it for $4...I would have been so excited if I had found that!! What a wonderful treasure!
About 8yr ago I went to my favorite antique store and found a box full of bears! They were $25__but half off. I could not pass it up $12!! . My daughter and her 2yr old had a teddy bear picnic in a tent in my back garden surrounded by bears...so fun....they were actually very nice bears, most of them in all sizes, some dressed including hats for the occasion. WOW

I believe the first piece is wood turned bowling pin. The whole is were a piece of rope and a flat metal plate piece were a attached When the pins were knocked down a bar type piece would lift the pins up and then they would go in position for reset.
That turned item that you said you didn't know what it was looks suspiciously like a full-size bowling pin. 65 years ago my grandfather came into possession of a few used bowling pins, turned them on his lathe to remove the plastic-y paint, then made them into lamps. Two of them were in my family home as I grew up, don't know what became of them. The wood was so beautiful under the paint that all he did was stain and seal them. I would not have been surprised if he had turned grooves in them, though.
Oh…..how to pick a favorite ! LOL!!!! That candle holder with the Birds, I think that lady may have a line of cards and home decor. Or it looks a lot like her Birds that she uses . So pretty. Yes, I fall for the beautiful aged patina wood pieces also. So many good finds !!! Love watching them all ! Stay safe and warm with the nasty weather coming to your State ! Oh my gosh that little kitty cream pitcher! I have my Mother’s. My husband accidentally knocked it off the shelf a month ago and it broke. I saved the pieces but don’t think it’s salvageable! I totally faked how sad I was for my husband’s sake! My mother went to Tupperware in the fifties and they would give prizes for the most unique “coffee cup” my mother took kitty as her cup and usually! I would give anything to purchase you kitty from you! How do I go about finding where to have a chance? I cannot believe you found that and shared it with us, I am smiling from ear to ear!
