Yvonne, you a such a beautiful woman with a beautiful sweet spirit. I so enjoy watching your adventures! I know you have to work to make a living but I pray you can get the rest to finish healing too. Your rehab items always look so fabulous! Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️
I went to the craziest auction. Things went for pennies!!!! We bought so much that the truck could not hold anymore!!! I got reproduction Tiffany style lamps. I know they are not real but they are well made. I got a wicker porch set for fifty. Four bird baths!!!! Waterford Christmas ornaments.
It's a Spam lamb!! Omg, that lamb reminded me of the MASH episode where Radar let the lamb they were supposed to have for Easter go and they made a lamb out of Spam. All your yummies were really wonderful.
I am not the happiest morning shopper but I will do it to avoid the crowds. Crowded places make me very anxious 😟 😰. I love how you sit on the floor going through collections. Some people are much too shy for that, I am not when it comes to thrifting, I would be down on the floor digging as well.
Living in sub tropical Queensland, Australia, I couldn’t survive without my aircon. My solution while waiting on getting the whole house done is put a cheap window aircon unit in the bedroom. At least you’ll get some sleep, and have a place to retreat to when it gets too hot. With your health getting overheated isn’t a great idea anyway.
My grandad had s billiard room with a beautiful big billiard table and a gorgeous wooden score board similar to the one you have. His was from Scotland. Pretty sure that's what you have Yvonne. Great finds. Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers 😊
I had never seen slung vases till you showed them. That flying pig is a conversation piece, never seen one like that! I love getting farm animals too. Cannot hardly find any sheep in my area. I love watching and learning about the antiques. Thanks for sharing and take care❤
Fair market value is what we use for pricing, like you said every area is different, swung vases are cheap here, swans would never sell or rusty crusty. I appreciate all antiques but yes we have to buy what we can sell to make money. You do wonderful work. Ty for sharing
I love all the unique things you and Chris find. That scoreboard is so cool & Ooo the vases!! The cute wooden pig reminds me of a restaurant near us called "The Flying Pig." Thanks for sharing 😊
Great haul! LOVE the Blue bowl with handle! That's a Score! Awesome sugar bucket and Pantry buckets! I do not care for huge crowds....the last flea market we went to ... we couldn't even stop to really look at items without people throwing dirty looks at us, and literally showing their impatience about someone else standing where they wanted to be.....not the best experience at a flea market. Good thing looks don't kill... we wouldn't have made it out of there! LOL! Some people's children....just can't take them anywhere! LOL! Anyway, so proud youins had a safe, fruitful trip! Thank youins again for bringing such enjoyment , and smiles to me! I share your excitement in your finds! Love Chris's truck finds! Yvonne , continued prayers for full recovery for you! God Bless youins. ❤❤❤
Great finds!!! Tater is getting big❤ I’m a 9 am riser, I’d say I’m an in-betweener. I do love staying up til 12-1 am though, it’s when my creative juices are the best. When I came home from Afghanistan, I no longer participated in anything with a crowd.
Yvonne! The lamb cake pan!! I have a very old very heavy one that was my grandmothers. From the 40’s. She used to make me a cake for my birthday every year in May and it was so special to me. I got to have it when she passed. It was a white cake with white icing and then of course coconut. Soo sweet. I was teaching littles when I got it and I started making one for them for March coming in like a Lion/Lamb…it went over soooo well. They loved it. I used jelly beans for eyes and nose and then food coloring to make “grass” for him to sit on. So fun ❤ glad someone else will get to have it. TFS!!❤
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney it’s funny because I started that like almost 20 years ago and I still hear about it from past students and their siblings coming thru!! Love that I helped them with a core memory❤️
I am also an early riser but I also stay up late. I only get about 3 or 4 hours of sleep per night. Both my grandmother's had those vases and as a kid thought they were cool. No clue where they ended up. Nice haul and looked like you were able to score some good deals.
So good to see you are back and feeling better. Life’s funny, I was scrolling through eBay looking for a metal lamb mold then lo and behold you at the same exact time held up the lamb you purchased. You would have gotten a kick out of my sigh.
You bought some beautiful bittersweet swung vases! A booth here in The Heart of OH Antq Cntr has a huge collection. Jocelyn ( CLL) collects various colors. Looks like it was worth returning on day 2. Going 7 - 4 Fri wore me out! I'm concerned you're pushing yourself; mono takes wks to overcome. Pls go slow. Luv that lil Tater! Blessings from Chris in Springfield 🙏💙
Just finished the video! I have never seen or heard of swung vases until you! What a fabulous score, my brain auto math on &10/inch 🫨 wow! Loved your haul, now REST! You sound so tired 💔💜
Always a joy to watch you both! Y’all should come down to the Carolina’s and enjoy some picking here. Praying for total restoration and recovery for you soon 💛.
Glad you got some good things. Hope you come back , I think the forecast of rain scared some vendors away there were some that we usually get things from that weren't there.
I enjoyed your video. I was there and hoping I’d spot you. I’m from Oklahoma and my first trip to Springfield sale. Bought a few treasures but I found the items a ityle high
The vases are beautiful, Chris Scored with those Tonkas, they are in great condition. Please rest and take care of yourself. Praying for a rapid recovery for you.
Yvonne, sometimes around here (eastern NC) we find boxes that look just like what you are calling pantry boxes, but they are cheese boxes. Boxes that big ole rounds of ‘hoop’ cheese come in and are placed on the counters of country stores and sold by the pound. Are they the same thing? Do you know? They are rough and unstained, but that’s easily fixed, you know. Also, I am almost 80 years old and in my time, I have traipsed through stores, flea markets, yard sales, etc and I have never seen a swung vase! I would probably holler if I found one! Like I need another vase. LOL. Good finds, good haul, fun video. Good to see that you seem to be feeling a lot better. Thanks for sharing
We are early risers too! I'm always up by 5am and my husband is up at 2:30am. He starts work at 5am and has an hour commute. You got some good stuff...the flying pig is to funny!
You found some wonderful items. The flying pig is a cutie. I collect flying frogs in memory of our oldest son we lost in 1989. He loved frogs as a kid. I’ve never heard of swung vases until I started watching you. I had no idea how pretty n colorful they are. Congratulations on your 4. Chris did very well in the Tonka trucks. They look in mint shape. Don’t over do it. Take it easy. We don’t want to see you back in the hospital. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟🐈⬛🐈⬛
I admire your passion, the thrill of the hunt for goods. Over ten miles in one day? God love you two! Your vases were beautiful. That scoreboard was pretty amazing too. Thanks for another great video. Take care. You look amazing.
Great find on the bittersweet vases. I found one at my local Goodwill. Just as they were getting hot. It was marked $6.99 and you better believe I grabbed it. They are impossible to find in our area now. Unless you have $300 or $400 to spend. 😮
Sometimes early & sometimes not, it depends on if the kittens let me sleep. Glad you are feeling better - I did not realize you were in the hospital ( must have missed that video). Glad y'all got some good items.
Is that real a real stained glass lamp? It’s hard to find real glass anymore, the market is flooded with the resin stuff. I am glad you were able to find a real glass one. BTW, you look great. I hope you continue to feel better and better each day. One of the antique billiards scoreboards went for $595.
I use the Deva Curl line. It’s made for curly hair. ( shampoo, conditioner and gel) but I always try to dry it completely and hair spray it to lock in the curls.
The sheep are definitely very nice finds. Congratulations on getting to pick out your Slung vessels, that looked like a lot of fun. I’m glad you were able to do the 2nd day. Chris scored some beautiful trucks in great condition, I think that’s wonderful. I saw the lil reel of you doing the bucket. My daughter needs to buy that furniture restore product as she found a bedside table for $6 because of the need to be restored. 😊❤
We went but didn’t see you. We left early Friday and went to Heart of Ohio. Did you get the swing vases at the Heart? Pretty sure that guy has a booth there and sell his huge lifetime collection. I watch their TH-cam channel daily. We had never been to the May Extravaganza but have been in September the last 4 years. It’s much bigger and better but sometimes hotter of course. Glad you got some good deals!
Why is everyone calling the vases swung vases? I looked it up and they are called swan vases, lol. Could you tell us what they are called? Swung or swan?❤
You made me smile today, sitting on the floor enjoying unpacking the vases!
Yvonne, you a such a beautiful woman with a beautiful sweet spirit. I so enjoy watching your adventures! I know you have to work to make a living but I pray you can get the rest to finish healing too. Your rehab items always look so fabulous! Blessings, Texas Deb ❤️
No, I do NOT like crowds of people! I have you on my prayer list. Please take care of yourself and rest. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much!💕
I went to the craziest auction. Things went for pennies!!!! We bought so much that the truck could not hold anymore!!! I got reproduction Tiffany style lamps. I know they are not real but they are well made. I got a wicker porch set for fifty. Four bird baths!!!! Waterford Christmas ornaments.
Wow.. lucky. So happy for you. It’s amazing how we can pack all our treasure in😁
Love the video but want you to take care of yourself. Don’t push too hard. We’ll still be here.
You only got 4 swung vases? I thought you would buy them all. You got some great items for your booths. tfs
Oh.. that could have been quite pricey.
Thanks and praying you get back to felling 100% better, God Bless..
It's a Spam lamb!! Omg, that lamb reminded me of the MASH episode where Radar let the lamb they were supposed to have for Easter go and they made a lamb out of Spam. All your yummies were really wonderful.
So Sorry that you had to go to Hospital!! ❤
Thank you
Looks like you guys had a fun and tiring adventure. So glad you are back but please take care. Give yourself time to totally get well.
Went to the Heart of Ohio first weekend of May. I talked the swung vase guy too
Ive always been an early bird too....I love my mornings!!! ❤

Back when you would see those swung vases every where . Not now. 😊
enjoyed your video today, I live in Ohio and know the Springfield Fleamarket, Hope you're feeling better take care of yourself God Bless
Will you be going to the midland festival Saturday? I seriously would love to meet up with you ❤
We are supposed to be going. 🤞
I'll be watching for you guys ❤❤
Can you please explain the difference between pantry boxes and cheese boxes.?
Pantry boxes are usually older.. made with small nails not staples. Wood quality is much different than a cheese box.
I had never seen slung vases till you showed them. That flying pig is a conversation piece, never seen one like that! I love getting farm animals too. Cannot hardly find any sheep in my area. I love watching and learning about the antiques. Thanks for sharing and take care❤

Not a crowd person at all! Especially in the heat

I can understand why . Bless you💕

My husband and myself are early risers too.
So happy to see you. 🙏
Lots of great stuff! Wishing you continued healing. Chris had a good buy on the metal toys.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your videos giving us all the precious pictures and info on everything! I hope you continue to getting well. 😊
We support you Yvonne

I am with you on the crowd thing!! Do not like them! Glad you are better🙏🏻🙏🏻
Could that framed thing with the holes be part of an old telephone operator's switchboard?
Unique pieces bring more. I have a vertical file cabinet that was made in Ohio. Very rare.
So good to see you are back and feeling better. Life’s funny, I was scrolling through eBay looking for a metal lamb mold then lo and behold you at the same exact time held up the lamb you purchased. You would have gotten a kick out of my sigh.

Great finds indeed!

I think she said swan vases.
They are called swung vases. They have that very distinctive free form shaped neck.
It was interesting to see how he priced them. Seems like I’m always leaning. Thank you.❤
That scoreboard is gorgeous!!❤
Always a joy to watch you both! Y’all should come down to the Carolina’s and enjoy some picking here. Praying for total restoration and recovery for you soon 💛.
Wonderful finds!❤
Great adventures and cool finds !! Tyfs

The vases are beautiful, Chris Scored with those Tonkas, they are in great condition. Please rest and take care of yourself. Praying for a rapid recovery for you.
Thank you, I will
Love the 3 orange
I so enjoy watching your videos!
Google Lens says it's a billiards scoreboard.
I was thinking the same thing. ♥️😊👍
Yes it is 😃 From 1898 👍

I bet Tater missed you! Hope you get completely well soon.
Great thrifting! Too bad the weather wasn't the best, they might have had some much more. You got some really amazing finds though. ❤❤❤
These lamps were sold on QVC
I admire your passion, the thrill of the hunt for goods. Over ten miles in one day? God love you two! Your vases were beautiful. That scoreboard was pretty amazing too. Thanks for another great video. Take care. You look amazing.
Fun and tiring weekend. You got some great items, the slung vases and the Tonka trucks. Get lots of rest and stay well. 🤗
Thanks for the video!
I remember seeing the flying pig on someone else’s video. Love it!❤️

Wow.. what a lucky find
What was the sheep mold used for?
Mostly cakes
Didn’t realize you were in the hospital but very glad you are home now! Stay well and keep going!
Yvonne, you should come to Montana. I bet you would see some amazing things.
Awesome finds!! Love the lamp & vases!!
It is an old Billiard score board
Hope you feel better! Springfield s hit or miss for me!
That board is a billiards counter😊
Fabulous haul! Loved the swung vases!
You're looking a little pale, time to rest.
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. I have learned so much from you both. I hope your health continues to improve. Sending hugs!

Yes.. it’s glass. Wow.. that price.
I have to ask. I have curly hair. How does your hair still look beautiful and not frizz in that weather, lol ? Y hair would be a hot mess! Lol
Me too and in this heat my hair is a hot mess!!! 😂
Same here, what do you use on your hair? It's beautiful

Yes it was a the Heart of Ohio.
Quick pause before I forget LOL! That flying pig….. chippy white body and rusty wings ❤
🥰
Did you ever find out what the peg score board was made for?
Why not sale at the flea market yourself s?
No thank you. Traveling and setting up . And then taking and packing back up. Isn’t my cup of tea.
You guys got some great picks!
Crowd person, some times, shopping for something I really want no. Shopping looking only I’m ok w it
Great haul!!❤
I'm a late person.
score board for snooker or billiards
Wow how do you man 4 booths?
?? Have u ever seen green vases?
Not very often actually
Great haul ❤️
Is it a cribbage scoreboard?
💖!
How much would you pay for a large hobnail milk glass swan vase. I saw one for $75 but didn’t buy it.
❤❤❤❤❤
Why is everyone calling the vases swung vases? I looked it up and they are called swan vases, lol. Could you tell us what they are called? Swung or swan?❤
Swung
A vase is called a swung vase because it has been swung during the glassmaking process
