    So lovely. Thank you for sharing! :-) Beautiful Turkish home and very informative... My dream is to visit Turkey and learn the language.
    Living "on your own" is so overrated and a very Americanized way of thinking.
    Living with family has its positives too. More togetherness while we have our loved ones here with us, pull resources together and help eachother in different ways, save money, etc.
    I'm sure you'll be able to travel soon just as your sister has. 26 is a great age and you still have lots of time to enjoy the journey of figuring things out. :-) Love this channel!!! So proud of you!!! Keep it up guys!!💛💯😏

    • @noksyesvs
      @noksyesvs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't understand how you can find gf/bf online. I have been a member of several sites for 4 years, but none of my speeches could pass the preliminary meeting. Hundreds of messages are coming from Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Latin America countries every day. Mostly golddigger. But, Interestingly, Indonesians, Filipinos, Thais and Latin Americans living in Western countries do not even respond to my messages. Frankly, I have no problem communicating with women. I am already a preschool teacher and while I was studying at university, 99% of my friends were women. It still is. I think it's impossible to find a like-minded person online. Because everyone is trying to look better than they are, but they are very hypocritical. Living in a collective culture like Turkey is torture for an introvert. Here, intovert is perceived as antisocial. Those who don't talk unless they find something worth talking about are seen as losers here. Turkey is the hell of gentle, kind, rule-following, calm and intellectual people.

      @@noksyesvslol Filipina here. What app are you using? I’m familiar with dating apps but I only used it once out of curiosity. I’ll give you some info. Educated Filipina don’t really like using dating apps to date foreigners. Because men just use it to fool around. I’m not saying all but many. Also, I only know one or two people that found their partner online and but the other one is kind of problematic. both of them are introvert and they’re dating were foreigners. The first one is my sister’s best friend who met an introvert too. They got married after the girl graduated. The other one is my best friend who is also an introvert. With the gold digging thing issue, be careful because it’s true many can really be like that. If a Filipina is dating or getting married with a foreigner, people will joke around even if it’s not true, "may naka-ahon na namang Pinay". It translates to, "a Filipina is saved from poverty". So middle- class and above Filipinas are avoiding to date foreigners through online apps like tinder even dating them if they didn’t meet in like workplace, organization. The only acceptable dating apps here are Christian dating apps. And many passport bros here who are 50ish married half their age that made them look gold diggers. Also, many mixed people here are the result of US military promiscuity with bar workers. So it’s kind of embarrassing joke here if you’re dating foreigners although it’s kind changing. When I was younger people would joke why I didn’t have bf yet and to end the conversation I’d say I will marry a foreigner. And they would laugh about it. I don’t know if this help but I think the best way is to go out and travel and meet people personally. Talk to the locals and make friends with them. That’s the best way to really know a person. Also please avoid those that are half your age. You’ll be stared at. Happy dating!

Then come back work again a year then back to Turkey to relax.

      Hello there Gary Beaver. Unless you have outside Income thats permanent i would not recommend you renting anything in Turkey. The wages are 2000-5000 Lira a month but the 4k-5k range is only for the Well educated class and higher tier. you would earn 1200-3000Lira a month and really struggle if you would just work a regular job there. also there are no work rights you can be fired and not be paid your Monthly Wage and the cops wont do anything about it. it is a very hard country to be living in especially now when the lira is almost 17Lira for 1 dollar. please roughly think about it before you do such a move. with outside income you would be living like a god but without you would be like a rat trying to get some crumbles everyday just to stay alive.

      By looking at big skycrapers from her bedroom window, I can assume she's on the Asian side, to be precise Ataşehir district. And that's why it's 200$ probably. It's not far away from the city center, you need like 20-30min minutes with the public transport to get there. I guess districts next to the Bosphorus from the Asian side like Kadıköy and Üsküdar are little bit more expensive, or the same price. But as you know, Asian side is always cheaper than European side, so you can expect much higher prices if you search for the places near to Galata and Taksim, Beşiktaş, Karaköy, Nişantaşı, Etiler, Bebek, Arnavütköy etc.

    • @Beyondthedreamofreality

      @@Beyondthedreamofreality @Afi Yea, basically you were staying across the Palladium shopping mall which is a part of Ataşehir district. Nice location, they are constantly building new things there so I consider it as the most modern asian part of Istanbul. As well, there is a Watergarden shopping mall, my personal favourite one. And on top of that, one of the best local places to eat I found there. If you want, I can find a name for all places I ate there so maybe jt can be useful for you. Beautiful home! One thing I noticed though about Turkish apartments is how often they only have one bathroom. I think any apartment should have a minimum of 2 bathrooms, unless it is a studio. When I look at apartments for rent or sale in Turkey I see 2/1 or 3/1 or even 4/1 and I say to myself "That cannot possibly mean 4 bedrooms and one bathroom can it?" I wonder if apartments built more recently have a better bedroom to bathroom ratio.
    The reason I am interested in this is that recently I have been seeing offers for apartments at 250 thousand US dollars that come with permanent residence in Turkey which is attractive but there is no way I would pay that much for an apartment with just one bathroom, Bosporus or no Bosporus.
    Very nice video, thank you for sharing!
