- With the Killer Instinct resurgence comes a new monthly tournament. The Revival is a monthly series that has been put together by the duo consisting of AphexArcade, Techdecker, & Nitrox.
After a long and grueling year, we ended the year off by crowning a new champion. HW DaaChronicle ends up taking the gold home and thus closing the chapter on 2020 year.
With a new year comes a new tournament and exciting news! The Revival is back and bigger than ever but that's not all. The Killer Instinct World Cup 2021 has been announced and The Revival is now a SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT for it! Not only will our competitors be playing for the crown but will also be earning points towards the KIWC2021 finale slated for December 11th, 2021 along.

Aphex, thanks for taking the time to put this together. Always down for some hype ki and this tournament didn't disappoint.
I love watching those mid or low tier doing well against top tier in a top eight with the best players of the world. Truly shows how well balanced this 2013 game is.
They need to bring this franchise back, I can honestly see this franchise competing with the likes of street fighter and mortal kombat if done right.
They need the development team and the only way it'll compete with other games would be if Microsoft throws money into tournaments. That's why MK11 and SF5 still so popular. Money talks.

What are Spinal's weaknesses again?
I remember hearing he's not nearly as deadly without skulls
Can be thrown out of teleport. Kinda needs skulls to get things started(to apply curses etc). Match ups like Omen where a character has high mobility can mess him up.
@@AphexArcade Plus I hear he doesn't have the best defense options?
@@bluewulv he has a pretty okay anti air which is his sword slash or c.HP. his escape which is his Skeleport can be grabbed out of unless you use meter but even then it's a slow start up.
But if a character has crazy mobility he can't do much to escape it and has to essentially be a sitting duck.
What do the pips on Eyedol do again? I hear a lot of commentary about them and never have learned what they do

When Eyedol is in Mage form, he can spend a pip to enhance his special moves(Meteor, Electric Projectile). When he is in Warrior form he can spend his pips to cancel out of his moves.
