Killer Instinct 2 is a 2.5D fighting game developed by Rare and manufactured by Midway for arcades in 1996 as a sequel to Killer Instinct (1994). A modified version of Killer Instinct 2 was published for the Nintendo 64 as Killer Instinct Gold the same year. A Super Nintendo Entertainment System version of Killer Instinct 2 was developed and completed, but never released.
A digital port of the game for the Xbox One is bundled with the second season of Killer Instinct (2013), under the title Killer Instinct 2 Classic.

Yes it was.. way before its time,in 96-97 with these 2d fighting game maaan it was a battle i rememberd having battles at my house with my brother's friends and go at it for hrs. K1-k2.. great times no wii fii or cell phones just STRIAGHT face to face .. i am now 38 and here ya viejo.. est85 bby

Tal vez se quejan de que no está porque cinder esta roto y por eso todos lo usan, pero recuerden que glacius en ki2 está igual de roto que cinder ( o más ) solo es cuestion de ataque aereo, patadas bajas, y gancho para que todo ki2 sea un paseo por el campo ( esa es mi experiencia con glacius de ki2 ) glacius de ki2 esta tan roto en n64 como en arcade (en arcade es incluso más roto)

Sin dudas rare esta muy adelantado a su época, ni capcom ni midway o Nintendo podian competir tecnicamente con este titulo en aquella epoca, una lastima que nintendo y Microsoft terminaran con la genialidad de rare y el ki3 nu a los talones le llega a este

4:38 Was that a parry? Does it function the same way as it would in Street Fighter 3? I sometimes do this technique without knowing how I did it.
Parries in KI 2 you do them pressing Back + light punch, you can only parry normal attacks
