I'm so happy you did this figure review. I grew up watching the Adam West Batman 60's show. I was always excited to see that it was on TV, because I also grew up watching the Wonder Woman TV Series, and when Superman The Movie came out, I was so excited that it was so much bigger than these two shows. I then began to wish for a big screen Batman and Wonder Woman movie like Richard Donner's epic hit. When Tim Burton was about to release his movie in '89, I was in the 7th grade that summer, and I remember begging my mom to loan me the money until allowance day, for her to buy me the novelized movie book when I saw it on a store shelf. I read it twice in a week, stared at the Michael Keaton Batman Close-Up on the cover FOR HOURS, and had dreams at night of the scenes from the book with the look of the 1960's series. Little did I know that the movie would blow me away, in a way that none of us audience members could ever expect. Now that this figure is about to come stateside, I feel that giddy anticipation with the soon to be released iteration of THIS Batman. I can't wait, because I've been waiting for him to Multiverse this version if Batman. I've avoided his six inch line because I KNEW he would do this. Now we just have to wait for the rest of the characters; all the versions of Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, The Joker, Robin, Pharoah, Frank Gorshin's The Riddler . . . "MY GOD . . . it will be BEAUTIFUL!" - Christopher Lloyd (Who Framed Roger Rabbit P.S. I just know that he will re-use the buck if this figure to bring us a Chris Reeve Superman!!! YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!
Yeah mine had a crooked belt too. A little heat fixed it right up. Oh and the right hand you was in question about was for him to scratch his chin while he was in detective mode. The hamburger bun killed me lol!!
There's no way ol' Toddy would make a new sculpt without having plans of making tons more figures to come. And I have a feeling Joker, Alfred, Robin, and friends or foes are coming next.
Nice review and you have a heck of a Batman collection! The cape will probably be used with taller new releases of Batman or iterations who drag the very long cape.
Yeah other than the length of the cape, the body and head sculpt looks good enough for an Adam West. McFarlane is annoyingly hit or miss with their live action Batmen but this one of their better likeness. Speaking of miss, I'm looking forward to your review of the Platinum Horsefleck. lol I just got mine delivered.
Can't wait until my 2 arrive. Great video dHunter. I saw your Killing Joke Batman figure. I just posted mine yesterday. You don't see that figure featured that much. Subbed you and LIKE #103... Bat Toast
Great review as always, D. I haven't seen this one out in the wild yet. But even if I do run across it I'll probably pass. Mainly because I don't do movie or TV figures. I'm strictly comic book and some video game looks. I'll only pick up a live action figures to use as civilians or if the figure can pass as a comic version of some kind. Like I bought the Justice League movie armored Darkseid because I can fudge it as a version of his modern comic look. I would also like to get Lucious Fox, but I probably waited too long to find him in store. Anyway, as Adam West Batman figures go, this looks like the best one out there. Maybe they'll make Robin to go with him, and a 7-inch scale TV Batmobile. I know you'd love that.
I was hoping you would show if the newest mcfarlane Batman classic would fit in the Mattel Batmobile or not. I didn’t look through all of the comments so not sure if anyone else remarked about this.
I hope that this isn't the last 7 Inch 66 figure they do. I obviously don't expect them to give us the entire 6 inch line in 7 Inch, but Robin, Joker, hopefully a Riddler? I'd be happy. Now maybe a Batmobile since they're going hard in that line... And we *technically* don't have all the Live Action Batmen, Lewis Wilson from the 1943 serial doesn't have a figure!
@@dHuntersReviews I for some reason never liked Adam West. When I was a kid the show was on twice a day in the early 1970’s. I watched it but even then as a toddler I kind of looked at it as a mockery. I had that on TV, and my comics showed a totally different person, the comic Batman was why I was never afraid of the dark, and when I was in kindergarten and another kid tried to bully me, it was the Comic Book Batman that showed me to knock the shit out of him, so I didn’t get bullied. This December at Christmas I will have been a batman fan for 54 years.
You got one thing completely wrong.....mcfarlane has NOT givin us a keaton.......he put out a shabby, mid figurecand slapped an 89 label on it but there is no keaton at all in it.
Yours came with 2 left ankle joints. Word needs to get out this is a running problem with this figure. I've bought 5 with 2 left ankle joints and only 1 with the correct joints.
Great review. I like this figure, the only drawbacks that I see are the length of the cape and the cowl looks small on his head. He had more room in it on the show.
Great review. I hate McFarlane figures there's always something missing or off from the wide-stance his figures do which nobody stands that way naturally or his figures don't have enough hands. On a side note it comes to your new adam west batman figure why are his gauntlet spikes sticking out on the sides so much. I just can't do it. I really wish that warner brothers would give their licenses to a new toy company. 😢
McFarlane is doing an EXCELLENT job Better than anyone else out there if you ask me The hands aren’t that big of a deal to me This guy has 6, more than most releases I much prefer actual accessories
Finally. A comparison with Neca. Thanks man, you are the go-to guy when it comes to Batman figs.
It must be done!
Thanks for all the comparisons! I wish I had that NECA version, but I’m glad to be getting the McFarlane one soon.
Neca one will break over time
😭

Awesome! I do hope they do more 7 inch ‘66 characters!!!!
Just picked up the 66 Batman and the Platinum version awesome figures 🦇🦇 McFarlane has been doing great with the capes
I still need another platinum Adam West
I’m looking forward to getting this. The likeness to Adam West is the face is great!
I’m quite pleased
Yeah mine had a crooked belt too. A little heat fixed it right up. Oh and the right hand you was in question about was for him to scratch his chin while he was in detective mode. The hamburger bun killed me lol!!
Heat didn’t seem to permanently fix it

Batgirl '66 fully articulated...I'm in there.
I sure hope so
Great classic figure!⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yessir
I was waiting for Bane to snap his spine and you did not disappoint 🤣
Yessir!
Nice review and you have a heck of a Batman collection! The cape will probably be used with taller new releases of Batman or iterations who drag the very long cape.
Yeah, but that isn’t Adam West’s Batman
I think they mixed it up with Hugo Strange

Besides the cape, he’s almost perfect
I'm so glad we've got this one to the line 🙌
@@alvinmatthews2910 me too big time
I never thought i would find myself complaining about a cape being too big LOL but yea its wayy too big! love the figure anyways thanks D!
what a great thumbnail btw!
Hugo strange cape would’ve been perfect for this!

TH-cam must auto delete links?
@@dHuntersReviews The figure I'm referring to is in your Hugo Strange video. At 14:36. Finally found it. ✌😎
That is Hugo strange as Batman
Did they release it in the killing joke set too?

It's only been at Walmart so far, GameStop and Target soon.
I"m expecting a Robin and Batmobile.
It would have been good to see this batman next to the old school superman!
But McFarlane hasn’t made one yet
I think the cape on the Hugo Strange as Batman figure’s cape is the right length for this figure .
Yep
I wonder if the factory mixed them up
I talk about that in my Hugo video which I’m shooting now and it’ll be up tomorrow

dhunter ❤ 😂😂😂🤗🤗🤗🤗 here he is next to hamburger 🍔 bun 😂😂
🍔
I would pick him up but I don’t see a Batgirl or Robin 66 7” figures any time soon
I think they’ll do a Batmobile and a Robin
At least I hope so
Think those would be made but feel the same way about holding off until others come out in that line.
Then this will be very expensive at that point
Great video very funny. You missed not posing him with a 66 line Dick Ward Robin. Probably scales perfect.
No, they way too small
I was hoping you would show if the newest mcfarlane Batman classic would fit in the Mattel Batmobile or not. I didn’t look through all of the comments so not sure if anyone else remarked about this.
He won’t fit into Mattel’s ‘66 Batmobile, no.
@@dHuntersReviews thanks so much for the reply. I enjoy your Batman videos.
Now todd needs to do a robin and maybe Alfred or Alfred in the batsuit
Yes please and joker and Catwoman and egghead and bookworm and and and
Like to see some henchman for him to clobber.
Im hoping they do more of this line.

Batmobile and other vehicles PLEASE! 7 inch scale!
I heard the Hugo strange has the short cape, some say it was meant to have the shorter cape 💯 would look better ,more screen accurate
Check my cape swap video
Awesome. I am so looking for this Batman, Lucis Fox and Darkseid.
They are excellent
Im late to watching this. But this is One of best bats this year.
I’m quite pleased
There are people on eBay who make clothing for McFarlane figs.
Get him a set of yellow knee high swim trunks
I prefer him without it
@@dHuntersReviews Well, I’m not getting that one at all but if I did, I’d put the aftermarket eBay yellow Bermuda shorts on him. 😃
You don’t like him?

I believe I have 2 of them
Haven’t opened yet

I’ll have to look at the ankles
I did not notice this if it’s the case….

Is that the outback statehouse shark in the thumbnail
I don’t know what that is
Some old crappy shark toy I e kept since I had it for the Mattel 1966 line
Love that pose with the three jokers comedian figure.
Thanks!

His cape wasn’t short..and it wasn’t this long. I’ve seen better sculpts.
Should go down to his butt area
I’ve also seen better sculpts, but for $20 it’s decent
How well does he scale with the flash movie figures?
Excellent
