I took a little holiday down south in Chanthaburi Thailand. What a beautiful area. Mountains, Temples, durian cafes, plantations and an amazing riverfront city. Did I mention waterfalls? Unfortunately I didn't have time for waterfalls.

I’ve never tried durian and don’t plan on it. Andrew Zimmern will eat a goat’s scrotum, but he won’t eat durian. That says it all.
Rambutan, on the other hand, is delicious.

My Thai family has durian farms in the South. I don't eat it much because it doesn't go well with alcohol so they tell me. 😂

I just returned today from my first trip to rural Thailand, in Isan. I wanted to go for so many years. To see if I could actually live there. Sadly, probably my last trip to rural Thailand. In Udon Thani now. For me it all came down to one negative thing that I can’t live with, mosquitoes! Oh my God! I barely left my hotel room. I made the mistake of leaving the door open just briefly, and they rushed in. Three days and 15 bites later, that’s it for me. It didn’t help there was no bolt taxi, no local 7-Eleven for bug spray, no English, no English channels on the TV. Go for my first leisurely walk and the dogs got after me. Quickly got a stick and turned around and went back to the rural hotel. Stayed there for three nights. Super boring.
Would be too boring for me too.
Not half as bad or interesting as it sounds. Just stick it in and that's job done. Basically the same how I met my LB girlfriend

Those durian looks good ,seen one in the grocery store it was ridiculous by weight think it would be $25 cdn for 1 durian it's crazy they can keep it, like it in a smoothie or a shake so good
