    Kordell Stewart and the offense would take down the Ravens in a defensive beatdown.
    Chad Scott would record an INT, as would Brent Alexander add two himself.

    This game is exactly why Ward should be in the HOF. WR isn't just about catching the ball. He had blocks, fumble recoveries, and still had great catches in traffic.

  • @EdmacZ
    @EdmacZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    Dan Kreider was Ray Lewis’ kryptonite.
    He was the singular reason why Ray never did his usual damage against the Steelers. Note, this was Ray at his prime DPOY-level peak.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im not seeing #52 being blocked by FB in this game. The Steelers are just killing them in the air; and Ray looks slow. Must be hurt. The Ravens D looks tired. like the Steelers late 2007 when Tomlin stripped the bark off them in training camp; overworking them. It's a fact, #1 Defenses always always regress, it's just too hard to be great up front, great 2nd level, great corners, great safety play, guys hide injuries, guys come back 1/2 strength.

    Giants fan here..when people talk about dual threat quarterbacks they always leave slash out of the mix..stewart was fun to watch

    • @EdmacZ
      @EdmacZ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Slash Stewart was way ahead of his time, before NFL offenses figured out how to use a QB of his talents. He played in an era where game managing pocket QB's were preferred.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Giant fan too: I knew as a little kid watching Jeff Hostetler 1990 win a SB by adding that scramble dimension, where Bootleg could gain 15 yards if they DID cover the TE and WR on that side... Eagles Randal Cunningham beat my Giants with poor OL and playing Madden '92: The future is QBs who can run. Its just too hard to stop.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing ปีที่แล้ว

      Finally in 2021-2 the future has arrived. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen playing eachother; you think you got it bottled up on 3rd and long, NOPE, here's a 17 yard scamper. It's Back Breaking for Defense, we did everything right, but our Middle LB in shallow zone can't catch him. Justin Fields suddenly making the Bears relevant. Tua. Jalen Hurts. Its ABOUT TIME. College Football Championships have been won by guys who can run since Vince Young 2005, Tebow 08-09, Cam 2010, Cardale Jones & JT Barret 2014, Deshaun Watson 2016, Trevor Lawrence.

    • @WalterWhiteFootballSharing
      @WalterWhiteFootballSharing ปีที่แล้ว

      In the past, when High School coaches had elite athletes who could play QB; but also had a slow kid who could play QB, they'd turn the athlete into a WR and the slow kid his QB. Now, they tell the slow kid to gain weight and be in the trenches, or make him backup QB bench warmer, and develop the track star into QB, because he wins way more games.

      The next year Stewart got benched for Kent Graham of all people. That was kordells last year in Pittsburgh before he left for Chicago and eventually actually ended up in Baltimore as a backup. By 2003 it was Tommy-gun time. So, yea, it’s good that we got rid of kordell but there was a gap between him and Ben anyway.
