Hey, this device has only Headphones output so exactly like my Kawai KDP you can check this video to find out how to connect it: th-cam.com/video/H6vdYW0QBpU/w-d-xo.html TLDR: Yes it is possible but you will need extra speaker or headphones
Hello, I just got introduced by your channel today and so far all your videos have been a help to me :D. I right now have been using the Rc 505 Loopstation for quite a while now and I am thinking of buying a second device to make my loop quality better. While I was searching, the Akai MPK mini MK3 Mini keyboard has caught my mind. Now According to your video about how to connect a Yamaha keyboard into a loop station, you said you only needed a specific cable in order to do that. Is it also the same for connecting the Akai mini Mk3 mini keyboard into my loopstation? or do I need something else? I've also heard that you can use a microphone to input the sound into the Akai MPK Keyboard and then control it. Do you know how to do it? I'm sorry for asking a lot of questions.
Hello Sean. Great that you have watched the video about Yamaha and Keyboard connectivity. Now I suppose you want to use PC as Sound Engine and MIDI controller like Akai MINI. Basically to do this you need two USB-MIDI (or USB-printer) cables. In this setup PC will be the "central unit" Loop station will receive Audio generated by PC using build in audio interface and second cable will be used to receive MIDI data from Akai to PC, here is the video you probably look for: th-cam.com/video/ycmQqa6qDvk/w-d-xo.html
@@BBWalkerTV Thank you so much, However, If I just want to use the effects on the Akai MPK Mini 3 without using any kind of software, how would I connect it ? And do we need a software in order for the Akai Mpk 3 to work and make sounds?
Good question. This scenario is a mix of scenario 1 and scenario 3 - that I was showing here: th-cam.com/video/zjyxgW46c44/w-d-xo.html so you use Sound Engine from Hardware instrument and capture audio in DAW, You need audio interface for it , add Audio track in Ableton. maybe will make a video about it.
Great question, You need to use use channel on/off and record channel by channel (solo) so if you have 4 channels in your midi file you have to Repeat process 4 times 4 WAV file will be produced and than you can move it into DAW, IF you have problem with this - just let me know I will make such video. Regards
You want to play two voices at one? If yes - just check this video: th-cam.com/video/v7GYdisaYF8/w-d-xo.html You basically need to click both Right1 and Right2 to be enabled (until both Led indicators are lighting )
@@samsonlal9899 OK I got it, so in this case you have use multi channel record, and you need to select two channels for example 1 nad 2 and as source Right1 and Right2 accordingly, here is the example: th-cam.com/video/8ifim0EJeK8/w-d-xo.html or use standard record all - if you have problems - let me know
That is a great workaround! Thanks for the tip.
Rather lengthy indeed, though :) :)
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much 😍

Well, I need to think about it :)
Can we increase the volume of that wav file using Audiocity?
