If you imported your MIDI file and added TTS1 but when you play, you don't hear any sound, make sure each of the MIDI tracks' output is assigned to TTS1, by selecting it for each channel at the bottom of the Mixing console channel (watch 3:50)
Hello Sir! This video helped me a lot and answered all my questions. This is absolutely a treasure to keep. Now, I can already work free of hustle and problems. A million thanks to you. God bless!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to meke this video, intented to teacho us all this things about Band Lab MIDI. When I inserted the TTS, the MIDI channels did not play through It, but, I routed individually each MIDi channel output through TTS, and then I got the whole mix, routing through TTS console. Thanks a gain, regards from Bogotá.
great video. im having trouble with the tts-1 playing audio? the midi tracks are playing but they do not assign the instruments when first playing the tracks? do i have a setting wrong somewhere? i followed your steps carefully many thanks in advance,
Helped me a lot! Question now is how to add amps and effects to it. In MuLab I can just drag and drop a Poulin amp or whatever.. Cakewalk I dont know how to do this. Most VST's are audio effects, not MIDI effects.
One way to convert to a WAV/MP3/OGG whatever you want, is to simply bring up AUDACITY and select record from computer. Audacity will record whatever the computer is playing. You can manipulate the resulting WAV file in a lot of ways. Then, convert to whatever you like and save.
I have a problem. For me it split all the intrument in to a single track instead of multiple trtacks and the drums are the only one that are separate, how cna i fix this?
I started playing my midi file and the tracks did not change into the tts-s format the console view and edit preferences it shows the my instruments are playing microsoft so I am having to change each track manualy how do I fix thi1s so that the tracks change automatically in the tt-1
hi there, i followed all the instructions , evry thing seemed ok. there was sound playing but the tts1 view was not chaned to reflect the instruments playing... please advise , thanks
Hi, there, great video, man. I thought you would be showing how to convert the midi to audio track. You can make another video like this. Get the output from a MIDI track been recorded to an audio track with the input set from that MIDI track, so you'll finally have an audio track from a midi. And now it's possible to export the hole project to a MP3 file, for example. It's great to do with a drum midi, splitting each note to a different track, then adding a drum VSTi, applying effects on each drum part and finally converting to audio. I think it's the most wanted thing to do with a MIDI file. I used to do this more than 15 years ago...I've been away from all this music recording stuff for long time. Thanks Regards from Rio and stay home
I know this response is a year old so you've probably figured out how to convert midi to audio for exporting to a ..mp3 or .wav file. The only way I've figured how to do it is to create a new audio track, arm it to record, they hit playback of the midi track, then hit record on the new audio track. The midi track will play and the audio track will record it. If you know of another way, I'd love to hear how you did it! I've seen in Protools, you can just create an audio track and drag and drop the midi track to the audio track and Protools will bounce the midi to audio. I don't think Cakewalk can do this.
@@abc456f Hi, There, Mr. Jinks. Yes, there's a way to do it, actually, two. You can bounce it to a track or just freeze the track and spend less CPU with the respective plugin applyed to it. To bounce, just select the MIDI track you want to export to audio and then select also its respective plugin channel. For example, in a drum channel you have some tracks associated to it, so it plays the drum audio from its VSTi you insert. So with them selected you have to click on 'Track' and then 'Bounce to Track' in a small menu right above the channels. So, select the options you want (I always use 64bits engine) and wait untill it finishes. Now you have a new track at the bottom end of all tracks, with this MIDI converted to audio. I prefer, nowadays, to freeze it and mix everything. When it's done I export it to WAV (Bandlab doesn't have the rights to export it to mp3). If I have some effects or filter or something else to change in this channel I just unfreeze it, apply the effects and freeze it again. I hope you got it. Regards from Rio
Hi bro i have connected my audio interface to cakewalk.....when i add a midi track the audio output is coming out through my midi keyboard speaker's and not through the headphones that is connected to the Audio interface pls help me out to understand what's happening

So I'll risk my question: I have 4 synths and I want to record them in my DAW. So, strickly for pre-amp quality, should I go with Presonus AR18 mixer or Focusrite 18i20 3rd gen? So I did this it worked but...I changed the instrument in TTS to the bass preset and whenever I try to change the type of bass guitar and then hit play, it switches back to the picked bass guitar I can change it while the track is playing, but when I pause and play agian, it switches back to the picked bass
The MIDI file that you might have used, includes CC codes to send patch info, which is basically the MIDI instrument/sound. You may need to edit the CC code, normally found at the start of the MIDI track.
@TomOudam you can try PresenceXT, but you need to separate all 16 MIDI channels into tracks and have as many PresenceXT as midi channels used. PresenceXT can only output one instrument sound at a time.
