STARS (Student Telephone Assisted Registration System) Promo (1988)

In April 1988, FCCJ rolled out STARS, the Student Telephone Assisted Registration System, becoming the first educational institution in northeast Florida to offer touchtone telephone registration. During its first use over the spring and cross terms, it helped over 3800 students avoid standing in line at campus to register. This five minute promotional video explains the then-cutting-edge process.
