North Campus Recognizes M.M. Woodley at Convocation (1984)

In the middle of North Campus's convocation in August of 1984, Campus President Dr. Ezekiel Bryant took a few minutes to recognize Meekins Manning Woodley, providing a brief biography of the man after whom the A building was named. Woodley, one of the major land donors for what would become North Campus, had just turned 92, and the audience sang happy birthday to him while Bryant presents him with a birthday banner and cupcake. Woodley speaks briefly at the end of the presentation to express his gratitude and pride in the accomplishments of the college.
This event took place in the North Campus Auditorium on August 20, 1984.
