Upgrading Element ECTO with SSD Link Mounts

I have only ever had one weak point on the Element ECTO - the rear link mounts.
Today - I fix that...thanks to SSD (www.avantlink.com/click.php?t...)
SSD offers an aluminum link mount that works for the Enduro, Gatekeeper, ECTO platforms. This product should offer increased strength compared to the plastic link mounts that come from the factory.
To complete the install, I also used my electric screwdriver (amzn.to/3ijG50K) with MIP speed tips (amzn.to/3FksyPu) and blue loctite (amzn.to/3XRHzj2). The process is very straightforward - so I hope this helps you if you need it!

Took 3 straight runs to figure this out. Bought the brass set and have 25+ runs no issues. Already have a set for the gatekeeper kit. Yet to build. Does not hurt with climbing because it is a 1 to 1 ratio of weight.

The Ecto is used to often, when you use the same crawler all the time some parts will break of the fatigue, still great upgrade is durable the plastic

I have 3 different Enduro platforms I take out. Gatekeeper, Ecto, And an Artful Dodgers Groundfox based off Enduro parts. ALL of them broke these links almost immediately and I replaced them with The SSD components. I have since had trouble free crawling for nearly a year until last week when it was very cold outside I broke 4 total axle housings within 30 minutes! 3 rears and a front. I'm guessing this was from the plastic becoming brittle in the cold weather. So overall until that point, putting these link mounts on did not have any adverse effect on moving the breaking point to another spot

Nice Upgrade let's hope something more expensive don't break time will tell tho. I would have done the same upgrade ...& for The weight I do like to have majority of it in front but. I would also think some in the back would help in my opinion just for the downhill descends
