This game came out the same year as Battlefield 2 and Call of Duty so compared to the competition it's not that amazing, but it's still pretty damned good
It's crazy to think that people used to look at games like this and thought, "Wow, this game looks so cool!" Now we have such a high standard for games because of technology, so much so that some games come out looking great but have terrible gameplay because of high graphics standard, although some games have broken that standard, i.e. Undertale/Deltarune.
Nice vid, but you missed two emplacement guns: first is Mk 19 grenade launcher, which in the original game can be found only on some multiplayer maps, although it appears in Team Sabre single player campaigns a couple times IIRC; and the second one is "E M Cannon", a huge cannon which actually looks like SPG-9 Recoilless Rifle(like the one seen in the film Black Hawk Down), though given this gun only appears once in original game and once in Columbia campaign in Team Sabre, and you can use it properly only in latter, and even then you have to kill a friendly NPC who uses it first, it's not surprising you missed it. The only easy to showcase it I think might be to use level editor to create a map with it 🤔

The memories of getting this game on PS2 back when Play-N-Trade was still a thing, and then getting the PC version when my dad's friend offered him some old PC games...
I remember this and counter strike were the first two games I remember playing online. I still remember the sniper rifle system was awesome how you had to use the range finder then use Cntrl and the mouse scroll button to change the elevation for the round dropping
That's right but i hate 1thing on modern games : 1.The games ask for big cpu gpu and storage massive like a game call of duty or modern warface who eat a storage about 200 gb just 1 game when in past developers cares about game today the games are much more with updates more like they dont finishied to release the game that's my oppinion Its like you have a best cpu gpu and storage good but what happen if you're storage about 6 tb or 10 tb get full about because of 20 or 30 games eat you're all space what you do simple play old school games

No one could deny the absolute authority that 50 cal M2HB Browning had, even after 17 years, it still holds up against other 50 cal machine guns.

tbh Smoke Grenades in that game is pretty useless, because the enemy still saw you even if you're covered in smoke.
Maybe it's intended for multiplayer use? They're pretty thick enough that you can't see through them.
Basically a better Battlefield but from 2003. The successor, Joint Ops, is still better than any Battlefield game due to the scale and map editing.
Hell maps on this game put even warzone to shame at times.
