yeah yeah I said I was going to be fanfic world for a while but listen.... there was just something about the lady whistledown voiceovers during certain polin scenes in s3 that had me violently flashing back to gossip girl days and screaming 'welcome back lonely boy!!!!!!' and then the more I thought about it, I just could not get their parallels out of my head and I had to make something -- the friends to lovers excellence, the yearning, the men being written by women energy of dan and colin, blair and pen almost ending up in loveless marriages before the other intervenes, intellectual lovers of writing and art, the always seeing each other to the core and loving each other not in spite of who they are but because of it..... YEAH! if you get it, you get it!
