Anyway, this is my first time commenting, but you are amazing, I adore especially your call it what you want mv, amongst others. You get Dair so well. I also adore paradoxically the spite between these two in S6. Its oddly fitting if I frame the story as a true to life and UES politics ending. Like you know Dan and Blair would be perfect for each other, but this isnt that kind of story, its a true to life tragedy. Blair becomes this nepo baby handed her job when she could have done so much more on her own merit, destined to suffer with Chuck as her turbulent husband, who will always chase his fathers legacy, also handed down. Dan who chased fitting in despite claiming the contrary ended up as the true King of the UES, with the golden queen Serena, but its hollow. He had to pay the toll of becoming one of them for entry. I love it. The bitterness of it all. This encapsulates that dark angle of S6 Dair to perfection. BRAVA! MORE! Do you take song recs?
