We mean that it would be nice if the color of the date wheel matched the color of the main dial
You know I have a similar philosophy on my channel that I review fragrances and stuff on. I don't think you have to spend a lot to get a lot. I'm also a budding watch nerd myself that's why I'm here checking out this watch. I have a Timex legacy on the way should be here today the one with the lake blue face I cannot wait to get it

Casio used to offer this on a Stainless bracelet, the MTP-1381D-1AVDF.
Of course, it seems to be gone from Amazon.
The look of that "pizza pie Black dial on Stainless bracelet" is I think 💬 off the charts cool.

Hey question - do you think the more humble cousin watch the MTP-1239 "3 hand dress watch" has same inner lug width / bracelet or strap size ?
I have that latter watch here & just maybe its factory Stainless bracelet could retro-fit onto this version.

I bough this exact model casio a844 for 2300 Indian rupees i.e. 27.7usd as per 4th Feb 2024. The watch is a bit smaller than expected. Can you show how to change the band. My wrist is approximately 8 inch and i can not even wear the watch, it needes a new strap. For that i must know how to know how to carefully remove the band.

I think it probably would be better for a person who wants Hamilton’s Khaki King should put the 50 bucks that will be spending on this and instead put it towards the goal watch. I think it would also save one a bit of space, I don’t want to end up with one watch instead asking oneself “Do i throw the “lesser” one away?”. But I suppose one can switch one out for the other, if one it’s going to be doing some things where they might not want to scratch up their Khaki King. Just my thinking.
Though personally, I would probably buy the Casio just for the novelty of the full-day window (because that’s really the only thing that attracted me to the khaki king in the first place), and use The rest of the potential funds I would’ve used on the more expensive watch towards other watches I want (And don’t feel that I have a satisfying, cheaper analog for).

You mentioned the ticking was loud. I didn't hear on the video. In a quiet room, can it be easily heard? On a night stand for example.
Yes, for sure on a nightstand. And also it's definitely not as loud as some others *cough* Timex MK1 *cough*

In your MacGuyver Timex video, you had mentioned that the 1381's has ion plating over plastic which gives it a cheap-ish sort of feel. Is the case plastic or some other metal? Can they put ion plating over plastic?

This watch looks nice, but it's crappy. There is no EOL function. When the battery runs out a bit, it starts to lag. You cannot rely on its indications, you may miss the bus, and so on. I bought two such watches. In the first one, after replacing the battery, the second hand started moving forward and backward (sic!).
The second one was the same.
“The date is down by the 12 instead of up by the 6”???
