I've tried to describe Angelina to others, but words fail me. She touches my soul. I'm 73 and have heard many great singers, but this young lady is my favorite.
At any age, her beautiful voice will touch your soul. She is beautiful in voice, in soul, and in person. This song and video are perfect to back up what I just said.
You got it pretty quickly - a potential #1 worldwide hit. And she was 10. That's IMHO the reason why unfortunately it didn't happen. Angelina at that time had great success at an acceptable level for a fifth grader. But this one is a different matter - that would have catapulted her to the top, with all that would follow. So the family decided not to pursue it I think. Too bad she wasn't 13 already...

I think this song was done as a reference demo for the original songwriter And I don't think any record company could release a song Like This by an eleven year old girl, Not just for legal reasons but also it may not have not received legitimate air play or attention.

The fact this wasn't released had nothing to do with her family. The lyrics were written by Baby Fuzz with a collab of some other musicians. Seems the music was passed around to see if anyone wanted to do it. As far as Baby Fuzz was concerned no one wanted to do it. He didn't know Angelina had done the number. Eventually he decided to record the music himself. It's been on Utube. About the same time someone took Angelina's recording and leaked it. No one knows who did it & no one is talking. And Baby Fuzz did hear of her leaked video & listened to it as well & I understand he was not only impressed, but approved of her take. All I could gather is that Angelina will never sing it again. That did come from her camp. Too much controversy over the number.
FRIEND, some of us think this is the reason, it was not released, so she could live her childhood. She did concerts, BUT only if they were for a good cause, remember through her singing she gathered money for childs charities. A darn ton of money. Yeep and if you go watch it (by Babyfuzz) His version really doesn't hold a candle to Angelina's version.. And Angelina Sang it before the original artist in this case. So not sure you can call it cover really.

Late in the song, there is where she talks about being willing to drown if that's what it takes and this suicide connotation may have made Sara feel that it was not appropriate for such a young girl. Can't think of anything other than that reference, which then led to Baby Fuzz trying to stay as close as he could to Angelina's rendition when he released it, but his song went nowhere. Maybe when she get's older Angelina will return to doing it.

He wants BabyFirst BabyFuzz wrote this and sent it to her to make a demo. Sara even had a conversation about 'Gloomy Sunday', telling Angelina it was a sad song, but Angelina was able to get Sara's O.K. and it led to her great audition for Norway's Got Talent.

In the classical world, it is normal for the best child instrumentalists to be world class by the time they are 10. However, under YT videos of their incredible performances one finds many comments of the "child abuse" variety. Instead of practicing all day, the idea goes, such kids should be having "normal" childhoods. I haven't found any such comments in relation to Angelina. Well, perhaps she didn't spend all her time as a child singing (although I doubt it). But even if she didn't, such comments would be much more justified in her case than they are in theirs. No child of 10 should be singing: "I'll go down to the river Hold my head underwater Pray to God He delivers Me from your ways And even if I drown I'm gonna hold it down for you"!
