In this video i cover the steps of drawing the "Running Tree Man" character for my game :Wind Whirl". I rig the character in Unity Game Engine with Anima 2D, a free asset in Unity. This will be a multiple part series on animating and applying it to game development.

It wasn't intentional.

@FrankyyDev appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching.
hi first of all, my english is not very good I apologize for this . ı watched your video and got some really valuable information, thank you for that. However, I want to ask you something that sticks to my mind I'm a new in this stuff, and whenever I look at anything which I draw in unity , it looks extremely jagged(so ıt dont seem clear) . Where am I going wrong? This problem really bothers me
@Gokhan Yildirium you have to make your sprites vector graphics to get rid of the jagged. Also, you can blue the edge. I will make a video of this for you and post it this week. Thanks for watching.
Games Everyday, Stars Everynight thanks for your answer , ı m waiting your next video impatiently
@Gokhan Yildirium I am producing a video to highlight sprites and art in a solo game dev project. I will try to release Friday. I am also recording a series on solo game dev projects and how to get them started and polish them. Stay tuned.! Share like subscribe to many of your friends.
@@GamesEveryday okey ı am still waiting your new video
Hi there I have issues with after I bind the bone, parts of the character resize as they are moved around so I cannot get it to look normal. Do you know why this is happening and do you know a fix?
Be sure there is only one bone per Sprite , or if there are more bones you need to paint the verts to weigh on the area of the bone you want effected.
If you need more help , I can help on discord.
The option to add a new bone doesn't seem to be available in my unity. Is there a solution to this?
@MICHAEL YEN you have to add it in the editor
Are you using the 2d package?
@@GamesEveryday nevermind i solved it thank you!
I wonder how I would do this eith animated limbs
Do you mean with an animated Sprite sheet? I have another video with a traditional Sprite sheet and Unity. Thanks for watching.
Is it just me or are you very quiet
Should I add commentary?
Im missing the Bone 2D component, how do you get that?
Click create new bone in the drop down.
@@GamesEveryday I dont have that option, Im running 2020.3.1f1
@@GamesEveryday Are you able to link your project files so we can use the Bone 2D or link a lackage if you were using it?
If you right-click in the hierarchy you can create a new bone object from 2D click the 2D spot and scroll it down and you'll see 2D bone
@@GamesEveryday I tried, I can't.
Idk what to go to when I export
@wolf hobo. Be sure you export the Sprite sheet into your project in Unity and clearly mark the folder under your asset folder. .
@wolf hobo. In the video I state that you must make your own folder and name it appropriately in your specific Unity project. I know how many times I was in this same situation as you, looking for the wrong folder. Start by making a folder named sprites or Sprite imports, under your asset folder for your project. Folder systems are very important in Unity, even a small project will get out of hand without one.
What do you mean exactly?
anima 2d is not avilable!
@Shantanu Pandey it is available in the package Manager as well as 2d animation
