It’ll destroy the appearance of the C8 if they don’t rehydrate those cabin seals regularly. It’s like our expert detailer here forgot it was a targa top/convertible. Same deal with oiling/lubricating the convertible hinges & latches. A good detailer would do this.

I wanted to see the best way to detail the openings on the C8 and where dirt and dust can hide on a C8. I would stay away from microfiber cloths on the paint. The manufactures of microfiber cloths do not all employ the same material and processes when creating their towels. They will scratch your paint and you’ll have to frequently buff out the paint. I would only use WHITE Supima cotton towels from a major manufacturer for drying and border-free cotton-based towels for buffing off polish/protectant. How much did Chevy get to advertise Adams products? I tried Adams products and they DO NOT LAST! If you want to “preserve the original condition” as stated in the video, use a synthetic product. There are plenty on the market. Carnauba wax only lasts between 4 and 8 weeks maximum and evaporates quickly. Evaporation is 200 degrees for wax. A synthetic on the other hand is 700 degrees.
Too bad I tried to order a 2023 for my dad and I’m on a wait list and told from the dealer plan on waiting 1-3 yrs before even getting to order a car!!! Bs
LOL as soon as you do the inside with protection products, the leather and vinal has to breath, which is why the inside glass fogs up and has residue on it even after you have cleaned the glass / windows, best to use just warm water and a microfiber towel, that way there's no left over residue at all/ Plus this advert is sponsored by Adams, lol :) Also the amount of brake dust thats on the wheels is going to be on just after the wheel archs front and back ,no mention of deconning the cars painted surface, pilus removal of orange peel on the painted surfaces paint correction polish oil removal ,sealants or paint protection like SIO2 based products etc etc, it would take a pro car detailer at least 2 days to make sure she is done right and all you have to do is get it detailed once every 6 months depending on where you live and where you drive the car, like in snowy areas theres a lot of chemicals which is all over the car like salt or ice and snow brake down products used on the roads?
Ionized water? Yeah ok. I haven't used ANY type of water on my vette in years. Of course it is not a daily drive and gets wiped down every time I drive it.
I sure am glad Chevy knows about all these wonderful magical products that will keep my car more clean than any other brand of products! Forget detailed explaination of the process! Just get some Adam's stuff (mainly so Chevy can get their promotional kickback) and you're good to go!!
I don't think we expected much, but this was literally just an Adam's Polishes commercial with two dudes reading a whiteboard. There was zero passion here and that's pretty disappointing to see directly from Chevy.

The Chevrolet Corvette died. Since GM likes to copy Ferrari, GM could copy the Ferrari Omologata or Ferrari Roma and thus re-manufacture the Classic Corvette with an engine in the front as it always has been. Mid-engine Corvette is the same as a front-engined Porsche 911, in other words, ridiculous.
