I like that you get the point of a truck. Reviewers have been wanting new trucks to be luxury items killing the whole point of the truck and raising prices across the board.
It’s not the most modern or “beautiful” truck hut it’s a truck in its truest form. Back when people bought one thing to do a job. Nowadays people expect a lot out of all their equipment. They want it to charge their phone, drive for them, tell them when it needs oil, put the kids to sleep, and make dinner. This truck is not that truck. You buy this truck because you like reliability, consistency, to haul and take a deep pothole or 6 and still get you home. You don’t need a vehicle to show off to the guys at work because the vehicle doesn’t define you. Your actions do. So when they ask you to come haul their grandma’s piano you can say, “sure thing”.
How right you are! I totally agree with what you said. I bought it used two years ago in very good condition. I love my car very much because in the morning at work he can "wear" a work uniform and at night he can wear a suit and remain just as beautiful and strong!
I got gifted this truck when my grandfather passed away. 2010, 155,000+ miles and only now started to have a couple issues (cam sensors and oxygen sensors, wheel speed sensor, etc). Been a very nice truck other than gas mileage
I drove a 2020 Frontier 2WD with a 2.5 I4, for work. I loved it. I personally owned three Nissan D21 Hardbody trucks. One of the toughest trucks ever built. All 2WD, I4’s, 5 speeds. Never failed me. Rock solid reliability.
roy mctarsney I would’ve taken the 4cyl if they made it 4x4, remind me of a super old school import truck. Unfortunately they only make the 4x4 in the v6 so that’s what I got for my Frontier. I agree with it being one of the toughest trucks built and reliable as hell... which is exactly why I purchased this truck. Stay safe
I bought a 2019 Frontier, SV with the value package (So I have dual zone climate, heated seats, factory bed liner, etc) and I love it. Has updated entertainment, nice smooth compliant ride and it has the same drive train as the one you reviewed here. It's a great, solid midsize truck with more room inside than the '23 Taco. I'm super happy with mine. As an arcade game collector, it's perfect. Can haul a game in the bed or a trailer full of them, no problem!
Bought my 2013 Frontier King Cab VS V6 in 2014 with 26,300 miles. I thought it had a lot of miles for that year but ten years later and 97,100 miles. I towed a travel trailer to Florida from New England and back twice, Went down to North Carolina outer banks, traveled all over New England. The towing was never a problem with its 6500 lb towing capacity. Even had a friend buy one after he used mine to move somethings. I mounted a small wall mounted fire extinguisher right behind the drivers side wing door next to the jump seat. Nice fit too. This is my second Frontier and would buy another one if this one gives me trouble. Why buy new when used will do. Thanks for the review was informative and interesting
I prefer the king cab as I wanted a regular sized box (6.5') and its unlikely Ill ever have more than 2 people in it anyways (I have a car if I need to seat 5). There will be audio equipment back there soon anyways so it wouldn't matter. I also got a 6 speed manual trans instead of the automatic because I prefer manuals and its one less thing to break or have to maintain really. Took longer to find one but Im glad i waited it out. Its been a great truck, super reliable, tows well and for what I paid for it Im more than happy. My friend spent almost double buying a used Tacoma and he has driven my truck a few times now and he likes it better than his. Ya, as stated the turning radius sucks but ita a truck, I don't expect it to have quick, dart like handling. The type of tires you have on it make a really big difference in the on center feel you get from the wheel when going down the road. Truck was pretty bad when I got it as it jad some no name cheap tires, once replacing with some good BFG All Terrains it was alot better.
2:18 my 2002 F150 turns like a quarter turn before it changes direction while driving. Mad slop, money pit. Nissan Frontier is gonna be my next truck I believe, just seems like a good bang for the buck because I dont wanna say Great Value because that would just be kinda goofy
Its sad the frontier is the last vestige of what trucks are ment to be not luxury comfortable family SUV like vehicles there ment to be tough rugid throw it off a cliff get in it and drive it 200 miles to hall some cattle it just disappointing that trucks which embody the american spirt are being made better by Asian companies
From your's "Im not completely sold on the looks of this truck". I just picked up a 2017 Nissan Frontier without looking much at others until I started driving it. The rest in this group look decidedly "Boxish". I'll take my 2017 Nissan Frontier design look over the rest any day.
I will need more information about different types/models of Nissan trucks, years of production and how I can acquire one, as well as shipment to Nigeria

This truck is gonna outlast the owners Ram, guaranteed.
pro trick: watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Lionel Elisha definitely, been using Flixzone for since december myself :)

I just got a 2014 frontier, My first truck, I love it so far
Used to have an xterra which was about 95% the same as the frontier...ROCK SOLID reliability

2020 4cyl? You must not be in the US. They only make the new 3.8v6 for 2020 models
Chris Meza it must be a 2019.
I’m in NY.

Just bought a 2011 pro-4x basically the fully loaded version of this and I LOVE it
A common sense vehicle, no one today has common sense, to bad for them , a really great truck

i don't know what it is about it, but i just like how the exterior of the truck looks.
Yeah it's kinda hiluxy I guess since Toyota wouldn't give us one, Nissan decided to lol.
Frontier is underrated. Tried and true.

Literally Hauled an rx7 to reno from bend in one of these! BEST little truck ever.
It’s old but I still like it...great review dude
I love this review. This guy is awesome
Great review man. Good job
I drive one(with a L4) for work doing deliveries. Makes me want to own one with a V6

You guys need to see the D23 Navara to see what the frontier looks like in Australia since 2015
I would love to get my hands on one of these trucks.
Go get one. You'll love it. I got one and loving it.
I hope God bless you with it
I got one a I love it

The handle grips on Driver's and passenger side is what I noticed first on my 2012 SV
Not top of the line, albeit affordable and reliable. Just what I need :)))

I'm about to buy one of these bad boys. Wish me luck 🤣🤣🤣
Did you end up buying it ?
Ah yes... the stringy boys
This helped. Thanks
In the uk they are called nivara
What’s the difference of frontier LE
forgot the big bottle test
this sounds like a departing speach for the fronty.
Price?
❤❤❤ très bien. Ça coûte combien ?
SMOD though
Easily resolved if you have a year that's affected. That is, if you catch it before the fluids mix.
A real mans truck
the owner does mean things to me :(
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bread and butter is where is at! Awesome review!! I’m Getting one now 🛻
Mine gets around 22 mpg
Your trucks are so basic ( in this example) the European one had way more tec and luxury in them.
Don't want tech or luxury in a truck. It's a work vehicle, as all trucks should be.
@@FrankOsman mine is the only thing I have, so it has to do work and weekend family stuff.
No blue tooth on 2010 models either.
True I have one...
How mush
