The blue shampoo toned down the blonde color. I’d say if you’re looking to lighten the blonde and tone down the yellow brassy color, then use the purple. If you’re looking to tone the brassy orange and get a more brunette color look overall, the blue shampoo is a good choice.

Okay so I’m online looking for reviews because I just did the balayage and no matter what my hair always has this “orange” color and so I’m looking for a shampoo that will keep it “blond” and also help get rid of the orange/copper. And I keep seeing mix reviews so 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😩why is this so hard!

Yea it’s so tough :/ I usually use the blue shampoo excuse my hair is a little more on the copper side when it fades and it works well for my hair! You can also try purple and see which is best for you.

Can you only use just blue shampoo matrix for neutralize orange or red hair color? or do you also need to get the conditioner and toning mask for it to work?

Hi Zainab! I personally just use the blue shampoo without the conditioner and toning mask, and it works great! I for sure would be curious to try the others. Maybe I can do a video on that too. Thanks for the idea! :)

Hi!! I’m honestly no pro which is why I did this video lol I needed to see! So I use more of blue since my hair turns more into orange tones after a while. Hopefully that helps!

I’ve been using it every other wash, and I wash my hair every 4-5 days!

Hola! No, nomas necesita usar el shampoo. Puede usar su condiciónar normal después de usar el shampoo :)

hi! I'm no pro, but I personally have tried blue and it worked for me.

First try purple because the worst it can do is not work strong enough for orange. Blue can turn yellow hair green because blue+yellow=green and green is very hard to remove from hair. I would use blue only if your hair is still too orange after using purple. Hope that helps!
