  • This is my review of the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo with before and after photographs.
You can see all my recommended blue shampoos at the below link:
    ukbeautyroom.com/best-blue-sh...
Blue shampoos evolved from purple shampoos which were originally designed to take yellow tones out of blonde hair.
Blue shampoos work in the same way as purple shampoos, but since blue is opposite to orange on the colour wheel, blue pigments help to neutralise orange or brassy tones in the hair, and are ideal for brunettes!
Blue Shampoos work by leaving blue pigment on the hair. This makes brown coloured hair look brighter and cooler. With regular use, any ginger or orange tones are neutralised, and the hair looks less brassy.
The Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo and Conditioner was one of the best blue shampoos I've tested, but if you check out my website you'll see i've tried 9 different blue shampoos in total.
    These include:
PRO:VOKE Illuminex Touch of Brunette Blue Toning Shampoo,
    Joico Color Balance Blue Shampoo,
    Fanola Official No Orange Shampoo,
REDKEN Color Extend Brownlights Blue Toning Shampoo,
    Fudge Professional Blue Toning Shampoo,
    Aveda Blue Malva Shampoo,
John Frieda Blue Crush for Brunettes,
Charles Worthington ColourPlex Toning Blue Shampoo.
The Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo is a blue shampoo for brassy hair. It is a toner to remove brass. It works best on brown hair, bleached hair, or hair that has been lightened by the sun.

They shouldn’t call it a shampoo, you should clean your hair first and think of it more like a toner treatment. You can then use your regular conditioner or hair mask. So glad it worked for you.

So it's not a shampoo? I just bought the set and it says "Bass Off Shampoo" and came with the matching conditioner. It doesn't say that it's a toner treatment? Can you please provide where you got that information from? I'm about to use this set for the first time & just want to make sure that I'm using this set properly. :)

Do you use the mask with other brands of shampoo and conditioner? Or do you pair it with the brass off shampoo as well?

Bonjour.
    Merci d'avance. Bien cordialement
