    Hi Matti and Travel Feels community. Apologies if this was stated. During my film school days, which was on the precipice of going digital (c.1999)...we learned one critical reason why TEAL and ORANGE are used. It was because the two top selling film stock were Kodak and Fuji. Kodak has a bias toward ORANGE and FUJI toward TEAL. Often, DPs were using these complementary colors to balance that bias. Now that we have digital censors, they, in my experience bias toward cooler, TEAL like colors. Thanks for the rant.

    Just want to say a huge thank you. In the process of working on a wedding film and have changed the color correction about 4 times. Every time I think I may have it, I rewatch and hate it. After watching this I went ahead and bought your LUT pack. After messing around with it for a while, I now know that I have color grading the bride and groom will love. Keep pumping these things out. You inspire and teach me tons. Thank you!

    You should make a video about cutting clips to music! I notice that some videographers cut their clips to the beat, while others cut their clips off beat (and also on-beat in some parts). I think it is an importance lesson to know how to build up the length of the clips in the beginning of a video V.S. the middle of a video and the end of a video!

    • @johansermartinez9287
      @johansermartinez9287 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jake Irish i used to always cut on beat and I remember not ever being full satisfied with my projects. An experience editor told me that you don’t always have to cut the beat, worry about telling the story first, and cut to beat on important parts in the story or beat.
