I’m paralyzed and needed a trailer for my wheelchair. Harley Davidson wouldn’t warranty my TriGlide, but the dealership I bought it from said they would warranty it no matter what Harley Davidson said. And they stood true to their word. Even 2 years after my warranty ran out, they replaced my reverse motor and charged me nothing. Wild Cat Harley Davidson in Kentucky is the only dealership I’ll deal with.
Enjoyed the video, recently purchased a 2017 harley trike. Need to get a hitch yet. Stay safe riding.

First time visiting your channel. Thanx for sharing your experiences. I occasionally tow a 4x6 flatbed trailer to bring along my mobility scooter. I called corporate in Michigan to verify what the dealer told me about towing a trailer voids the warranty. I had some choice words for them.

Nice presentation. We pull a Time Out with our Road Glides. We just went ahead and installed the wiring and hitches without regard to the warranty. My latest videos are on the Time Out.

Great review and video. Appreciate your honesty and bias opinion. I wanted to switch from 14 years on a Goldwing to a newer HD Ultra Limited. But, after having a trailer for 2 month trips, I wanted to keep towing my trailer. But research led me to stick with Goldwing because of the warranty issue HD imposes.
I am glad you are riding your ride that is the most important thing one can do. You are riding and trailering your way AWESOME

Just ran across this video. Do you have or know of a video that shows how to route the trailer wiring from the plug in point to the trailer hitch without tearing the trike apart? Thanks for any info you can share.

I agree I do not understand HD and towing trailers. I now have a 2008 GL1800 goldwing and tow a custom trailer. Ride safe

What kind of trailer hitch, do u recommend for 2022 Tri glide?
My brand new as of today Tri glide has the heel shifter. Put my first 50 miles on it today, 5.13.21
Awesome it takes a bit but once you get bit your are off tot eh races. I never road an ATV took me a tad to get use it

I have been towing a trailer on most long distance travels. It has allowed us to carry what we need. I had two cases towing that was needed One was under warranty my return spring on the tranny broke. Deluxe HD in Wyoming took it in as we were going to Alaska. No question asked repairs and on the road the following day. Repairs were covered. Second had a flat tire. All in all we love it

Conversation will increase your storage for sure better ride. Cannot really tell you what trailer would be best. I have had three timeouts and a cargo MY 2016 Ultra did struggle up hill in California I-8 but only once. Never had an issues afterwards. My 2012 Trike pulled and no issues expect one hill or two in California no ice why California

Great video. I am waiting for my 2022 tri glide to arrive at my dealership in Lewiston Maine I live in New Hampshire. Never rode a trike I have watched a lot of videos on it. I am a seasoned rider I am hoping it's not too difficult of a transition. One thing I would do to your trailer is paint your cooler to match. Just a suggestion. I am a new subscriber. Thanks
LOL you are not the online to mention my cooler. The transition to a trike will take about 80 miles for sure. Remember do not put your feet down and push and pull to steer. I never road a ATV so my first trike experience was a monkey humping a football LOL You will be good I am on FB too with trike riders anymore see ya there

@@mrclean28h just to let you know I ended up with a 2020 Trike with only 3500 miles on it my dealership still had no idea when the new ones would be in. This trade came in and I was the first one they called so we drove the 2 hours to go see it and took it on the spot. After an hour of driving it I felt like it was part of me. 700 miles later I am loving the 3 wheels.
I would like to get more information about the reverse on your trike?My new trike 2019 ,pops off all the time, I am resetting it all the time! The dealership will not put it on! Thanks Bob!
Marvin is the owner he was helpful as I bought mine on EBAY for the same price than had Harley install it. eurowingusa.com/shop-2/mmd-store/ When using it place in Neutral while pulling in the clutch reach down and place the lever to the rear and slowly release the clutch your will go backwards at your desire speed Once done Pull the clutch in and return the lever to the upright position or forward and do no not place in gear while in reverse. I done that a couple times have to to put back in neutral and roll a tad before taking it out of reverse and then in gear. Good luck there is a video on my page showing it in reverse
Mine is also a 2019. Never had a problem with reverse. I know it doesn't like long up hills in reverse but I have yet to reset reverse. I bought her new November of 19.

Unless you know what you're doing (repairs and such) Harley's are trash bikes. Basically a money pit.
