All these years down the track, I am loving watching this stuff. I'm old now but when I was young I trained in TKD and some Judo, that's what we had available, it was either that or Karate. I liked the high kicks. If I had my time again I would still have done TKD but there's no question I would have majored in BJJ. I think it is a magnificent martial art and as I watch it I keep thinking of chess for some reason. Great videos, great sport.
I love that these two guys both from Gracie barra gave it all in this match. The way BJJ guys won't fight others from their school is the most un-warrior, un-martial arts thing I have seen. It sucks bad. Their ego is so big they won't fight others from the same school. Ridiculous. So these guys getting out there and doing is fantastic.
they are just from the same school not the same team and really why would you fight with some1 you do so every single day several times...you both know who is on top

What a ugly fight in the first 5 minutes specially for who those no understand BJJ, Roger lays his weight so well wearing Romulo out and referee can do not to penalize!! After that, pure basic high level "RG" jiu-jitsu.

In my regional Portuguese ( Azores ) the R's don't sound like H's and the T' don't sound like ch's. Thats how the Brazilians pronounce it. It's not necessarily wrong, its just their region. In the Azores the R's are rolled and do not make the H sound. Just an FYI.
in fact, we (brazilians) pronouce every word beggining with r with the american "h" sound, and in the middle of the word, with the normal r american sound, rr for h again. for us, the h in the middle of a word is read like mexican ll, and in the beggining has its mute. things are kinda changing with the globalization, but thats our language :) and roger is not only an english name kk very normal brazilian name...
