Absolute legend! I saw Buchecha commenting on this fight in a podcast and he said he felt he didn't prepare as well as he should have, even as well as he did for the first match. He really felt it after he tried to take Roger down and couldn't. You gotta respect him for doing it in a room so full of Gracies, specially Kyra being the organizer. There is no one like Roger though.
I can't believe it was 7 years ago my man! I remember being so geeked up for days before the match. I knew the pressure got to Buchecha, he never made that blue belt mistake before. All grace to the Gracies. Osss By the way, this decision was pre-planned. BJJ could not allow a Gracie to be an all time #2. Documentary upcoming.
You must be from a younger generation! Royler, Leo Vieira, Shaolin, Fernando Augusto "Terere" De Silva, Jacare Sosa, , Renzo Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Saulo Ribeiro and Fabio Leopoldo Silva (Who personally taught me the Ezekiel Choke) are the ones who inspired me! However Roger Gracie Gomes did carry the sport on his back for awhile!

What a disgraceful act the Gracies storming the mat even before the referee lifts Roger’s arm finishing the match …disgraceful behavior by the Gracies as many times before !!!
First gi choke I’ve ever learned. It takes an absolute master of the basics to pull it off at the highest level of competition
A well produced and well commentated breakdown. Thanks for the content

Brilliant match

Nice hair transplant. Only realized this by watching this with the dual screens. Amazing match strategy and breakdown by the Legend
why does flo insist on picturing the commentator larger than the match we are watching?

Is it just me, or did "Whoger" make him look like a white "beltch"? It looks like Buchecha was panicking. He didnt even try to protect his neck...

Fine to acknowledge that, but if so, Let’s also acknowledge that Renzo went to check Buchecha first before any celebrations.
You lost the first fight "hoger" we all know this
He had Staph and antibiotics the week before the 1st and was verified during that event, still didn't lose. This one he was healthy.
And he completely outclassed him the second so who cares
Whoger?
when the pick him up it took me back to the 90's when this happened all the time.
