My friend this is wonderful! Today my radio in car play thousand times Live in Chicago, Rise the roof, Plain Ole Gospel, Ticket to Paradise and all the albuns that you has gift to us! This job is a ministry for many people, for sure! The Cats is the best quartet ever in many aspects!
That was a nice upload representing the very first Cathedrals Quartet. It was especially nice to hear the leads of Dr. Bobby Clarke, and the last cut of the album with Danny Coker singing lead. Glen and George always sound fantastic. An era of the group where all will be missed.
I was listen Walk that Lonesome Road, an oldie JD Sumner song.....and I was thinking if George Younce sometime in some show or album has sung this song, did you know about? Oh, would be so exciting listen this great bass music in George voice.....

+David Guimarães Marcilino Cara, nem te conto, estou na casa dos 30 e sou baixo em coros aqui na cidade e num quarteto em nossa igreja. Mas toda a adolescência e meados dos 20 anos eu fiquei forçando a voz pro agudo por más influências dessa música gospel sofrível que temos aqui no Brasil. Com certeza, assim como vc, se tivesse conhecido o The Cathedral Quartet bem antes, eu seria um baixo muítissimo melhor e com mais cultura de música cristã do que sou hoje (George Younce é uma lenda, como queria ter aquela voz...) .....uma pena amigo....mas que bom que descobrimos esse que é, para mim, o melhor quarteto de todos os tempos!

I don't believe George ever did that song, unless someone has a rare concert recording of it. Wish I could tell you I had that!

I certainly wish George had recorded this song! There are many songs that would've sounded great with the Cathedrals' masterful touch on them.
