- Wedged between roots in the ground I almost couldn't get it out !
Metal detecting around this cellar hole today I started out by cleaning the ground of tree limbs and brush. Then grabbed my Fisher F19 and started swinging. Relic hunting for artifacts at this old homesite from the 1700s and 1800s anything is possible digging here. This one relic took about 15 minutes to wiggle out from in between two massive tree roots but I am glad I took the time because it is a cool find. I then spent some time walking around the old deserted farm now overgrown. Buttons, suspender and a coin made for a really good day metal detecting this old places. New England history makes it all worth the while. But sometimes you get those deep things in the ground that are really hard to dig out.

Excellent day in the woods Charlie.
Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you Charlie for the adventure and seeing some nice finds !
Very well rounded day indeed. It's amazing how you move some debris and just find more stuff. The buttons the intact pair of scissors and the beautiful suspension. Just amazing 😊
Hello Charlie I'm ready for the adventure 😊
Hi Charlie, I love your Not Thursday videos. Cool relics are , still, to be found. Nice scissors and suspender clip. Thank you for all you do. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸Connecticut loves you!
Great assortment of relics! I really like the scissors. I can't wait to get my first " good" find! You guys, and a few other channels, inspired me to get a detector a few weeks ago. Now to get some permissions, and start my adventures.
Awesome stuff man!!
A clean hole is a very happy hole😳😁
Love the dry forest there!
In SE Alaska we would have to dig through a foot of wet moss to get to the sticks.
Nice pull of the scissors! I know those are some of your fave finds!
Hmmm 🤔? LOOKS like fun in the woods.
Great bit of deadfall detecting Charlie
Saludos cordiales desde chile para usted compañero, éxito siempre 🙋♂️🇨🇱👏🗝️⛏️💍💪👍🤜🤛
1953- not particularly old but special none the less! My birth year!
Good video Charlie, you find some really unique things out there, you had a beautiful day out there. Take care. Looking forward to your next video.
hunt only forest land and I carry a folding pruning saw-from snap-on tools-it will cut 3 inch roots in seconds-great when you come up on something beneath a bunch of finger size roots. trying to cut them with a shovel is a lot of work.
Looking liker a Great Hunt , remind me cleaning a area up in the jungle growth
You did good Charlie
Let’s go let’s go treasure and adventure 🎉💕🇺🇸👵✌️🌺🌎

Charlie, What is the brand of shovel you use?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
There is a hardware store down on the corner. They stock hinges and scissors. And they aren't dirty and rusty.
Where is Digger Dame???
Golly, gee willikers, Sparky. I don't have enough junk at my house. So can I come along and recover some old junk with you?
Could you take some of the dry stuff home as firewood? Not sure of the rules there…
- see if you can find the outhouse.
That penny must be worth at least a...penny.
