A new way to store the outriggers. So simple, why didn't I think of it before. I used 1/2"x 3 5/8" pins. #homesteading #farming #harborfreight #towabletrencher
That's what I was doing but my place has so many hills they kept falling out. LOL I also put them in back of my little "mini truck" but they were in the way. This has worked out good for me. Thanks for watching.
Can you drill a hole through the outrigger mount that slides into the channel 90 degrees from the existing one & slide it back into the normal slot with the outrigger pointed up? Would that leave enough tire clearance?
Greetings! I have an unrelated question: I modified my trencher to work on the 3 point hitch of MF35. Problem is, I disconnected the hydraulic lines and cannot remember which hydraulic line goes to the pump. Is it the one to the left or right ? (When sitting on the machine)
To make little easier may weld the pins in place and then only worry about the keeper pins. Just a thought. Less to keep up with. Only have to tack weld
Simple - an elegant solution!
Thanks for sharing!
Nice mod. I always just throw mine in the back hoe bucket, but mine never leaves the property.

I wish I could afford one
I can not even find a used one to purchase either
I know the feeling. I wanted one for years before I finally got this one. Don't give up.

No, it would hit tire. That was first thing I tried.
When you have the outriggers on it and working, what is the distance between the outriggers where they contact the ground ?
It has different settings, at the widest it's about 8'.

Hi Chris, when sitting on seat, the hose on left goes to pump and the one on right is return line to filter/tank.

Hum.....not a bad idea.
@@DoubleMFarmHomestead keep it simple and easy to keep up with everything
Could you just store them with the extensions the other direction and not worry about hitting it?
I would have to do some measuring but it could work that way. Now you have me thinking. LOL
