Thanks for the video! Like folks below I've seen too many of these units working in the pristine clay, and rock-free loam of the southern states. Much 'closer' to what I'm working with. Cheers!!!

No Problem. I Iive in Newfoundland. They call it the rock for a reason. Mostly hard digging here with tons of rocks. When I was looking at one I had the same concerns. It has been a great machine for here on the property. Lots of strength for its size. I am very happy with it. keep in mind its not a commercial machine, and it is somewhat slow. But its much better than a pick and shovel!

Thanks for putting this up. I've been looking at these for a while and always wondered if these are serious rigs or not. Apparently they are serious indeed.

I used it a lot last summer. I am pretty impressed with it for the price. Of course it is not a full sized backhoe, but it seems to be a really good capable machine.

Thanks for putting this video up ,I am considering buying one of these and finally found a video of a Newfoundlander operating in our rocky soil.If they work here they can work anywhere. Also hoping these will pull up stumps.

Its a good machine for doing small jobs around the house. You will have to dig around stumps to get them out depending on how big they are.

I am seriously interested in purchasing this excavator and I am wondering if you have any other concerns since you created this video? I am in the CBN area

For me the backhoe has worked great. I have dug up some pretty big rocks, I would say about 400 lb range. For around the garden it is awesome. Of course it is not an escavator or full size backhoe.

I have not had any trouble with the hoses but thanks for the heads up. I will monitor them.
