This has helped me get out of bed in the morning and can influence the rest of my day. I'll write and record my own half hour routine to fit my needs. Just a few minutes of exercise daily does make a huge difference in how we feel emotionally and if you're as old as me use it or lose it isn't a joke.
This was really fantastic! I'm not a morning person, now that I'm semi-retired morning routines have gone out the window! This is really great for helping me get done in a short period of time, what I need to get done. Meditation/routine or not, an invaluable general point that was made here will really help me: to find what one already has one within oneself to deal with a situation. Most "self-help" and philosophical approaches to daily life often suggest trying to apply a technique or learn a technique. I've actually never heard anyone suggest looking within for one's own strengths/virtues (even though - or especially because -we might not always be aware that we have them).
Having an audio routine seems like such a simple and obvious idea in retrospect but it honestly never occurred to me. It really helps so much so much to keep the momentum going. Going to have to figure out how to make my own now. Game changer!

Review: I've been using this video every morning for the past month and I can honestly say that it has really helped me become focused and ready for the day. I started listening to the video during finals week for school and I was able to plan and get all my shit done for school + extra work. I've also been attempting to practice stoicism in my life, so it's a perfect way to begin the day. Thank you so much for making this video! Could you make an evening routine specifically for stoicism??
Jason Converse ye I am trying to get into stoicism as well. Finals are coming up, and I need to study for my SATs. Hopefully this will help me to become less of a perfectionism and more of a do-er.
For years I suffered from Insomnia I would be awake all night and crash out about 5.00am then wouldn't want to wake when I had to be at work at 7.30. I decided I would get up at 5.00am every morning instead of crashing out after a week I was going to bed every night and totally crashing out till 5.00am it changed my life. I was functioning to full capacity and getting so much more done in those early morning hours. I'm totally on board with going to bed at the same time and waking up the same time every morning and committing to a daily routine. It works it will change your life.
I need more than two minutes to get dressed...choosing what to wear alone takes ten minutes, if done quickly... :) Thank you for posting, you have introduced an old and dear friend to me: Seneca. An act for which I am eternally in your debt...
This has helped me so much! A suggestion for another version: A guided meditation which can help during the unpredicted moments in life. It is great to start my day with this, but when something unexpected happened, I find myself wishing I had someone to guide me again through my thinking processes of accepting and overcoming the unexpected situations. I go back to this video sometimes, but wish there was another guided meditation that focuses only on the meditations.
Interesting! I like this. I'm brand new to the channel so I'm going to poke around and see if such a video has been created. I know I could definitely use one! ☺️

Thanks so much. You’re truly a great person. I am committing to using this morning routine for the next week. I’ve really struggled with getting out of bed/having routine so interested to see how I get on. It’s night now so gonna start tomorrow. Gonna journal my progress here (so if this is my final update you know I failed).
Day one: moderate success. Followed once I was awake but set up a new alarm that didn’t go off so was up late. Need to figure out how to use this vid, or at least its audio, as alarm on iPhone.
Day two: success! Been a very productive Sunday! And I think this routine deserves most, if not all, the credit. Still haven't got it set up as a working alarm, and not sure if I can with what I'm working with (any suggestions welcome. got iPhone (plugged into speaker/alarm) and Google Home). Tomorrow will be a test, given it's a workday... but I'm committed!
Day three: success! Was VERY tempted to hit snooze but my better self just about won the argument. Had a frustrating day so about to meditate on the day in hopes of success in morning. Committed!
Interesting. I’d have to make my own because I’d want to use the bathroom first and take a shower before putting on clothes etc. But truly love the idea and was not expecting the music beats while doing tasks lol

This is a fantastic initiative, thank you Robin! For version 2, maybe have some customisable options eg. Choosing the activities to include/not include in this routine and setting varying times for each activity. If one wants to shower therefore needs more than 5 minutes in washroom. An app may be required for these extra features so I understand if you cba
Vox Stoica I’d buy that app. I use this morning routine Everyday and it’s brilliant. I just had to pause it at the working out part because I work out a little longer 😅
Ive got a good morning routine.. I wake up without alarm, whenever the hell I feel like it, usually 4:30am sometimes 3:30am sometimes 5:30am... But the first thing I do is 100 situps. I just roll out of bed and go. Ive been doing this for 4 years now without missing a day except when I had covid. The next thing I do is go for a 3-8 mile walk or run while it's still dark and there are no people to distract me. When I get back, I cook some oats drink tea and muddle around checking emails, reading statements, playing guitar, meditating, or journaling as I please. What I do and it works for me, is I keep my expectations of myself super low and meet them regularly, but I stay consistent with my constant but low level challenges. This avoids burnout.
Hi Robin, this is very good. Perhaps for the next one you could break the video into parts so that we can choose the bit we need. For example, I don't have any problem getting up. Best wishes, John
DAY 1 Started felt solid basically use the time stamps didnt really adhere to much as I have my own stretching stuff but the meditation was great dont really know any mindset changes yet will update
Hey there, I've been following your channel for just a few days and I love the stoic meditation part of the morning routine. I have been creating my own routine (i make my bed right after my feet hit the floor, dress after time in the bathroom, and exercise directly after my morning cup of tea, and then go to my garden for an hour before returning to my desk for work). I try to wake at 5 or 6 daily on weekdays or weekends. And the change is amazing... I front load my day when my mind is fresh and the productivity skyrockets. I've only been practicing stoicism as a trial for a month or so, but it has transformed my life. Thank you for this content. Would you consider doing a video of strictly the meditation part?
I'd just slide getting dressed down between stretch and meditation. I seldom sleep in the nude lol. Will give it a try. Thank you for all of your content. It's been making quite a difference since I came across it.
I modified this a little as I usually have a bath in the morning. When you say get dressed, I begin running the bath, then I do all of the morning tasks, like stretching and exercise and by the time I am to the stoic meditiation the bath is run, so I do that in the bath, then wash my hair and get dressed. On the days I don't have a bath I still get dressed at the same time, simply for the sake of routine. I should mention my shower is broken, or I'd have a quick shower instead.
Open the browser (not the app!) on the phone you use and search for this video. (This is needed to copy the link of the video, since you can't do this on the app) Once copied, search for "TH-cam to MP3" in google. Now paste the link to the youtube video you just copied and it will do the rest. Now that you have the audio for this video downloaded on the phone in an MP3 file, go to settings. Now under alarm settings choose the MP3 file as custom alarm sound and its done. This may vary from phone to phone but this is how i would do it
Great video. However, I find the background music distracting during the meditation. Could you please post the meditation part without the music? Thanks.
Thanks very much for this! I use it daily and will donate today. Since you mentioned feedback, it might be good to have versions of this and the evening routine that included a shower. Regardless, I appreciate you making these available.
Failed the last few days due to my routine being interrupted. Will start again tomorrow morning as I did feel a considerable amount happier when doing this routine.
27:25 after recognizing this, what is the stoic thing to do? I know they cannot harm and implicate my person, but do i left them alone , not engage, and not reason out where they are wrong? Genuine question. Coz i am going through this. Help.

@@legacyX20 There's a cool app called Alarmore where you can choose any TH-cam video to wake up to
Ive got a good morning routine..
What’s the very last song? This is incredible mate, thanks so much!
Great meditation I have been using for months now
Hi Robin, this is very good. Perhaps for the next one you could break the video into parts so that we can choose the bit we need. For example, I don't have any problem getting up. Best wishes, John
Everyday i check the number of view and its is growing, congratulation, everyone is following the rotine.
about 70 views/users a day :)
DAY 1
Started felt solid basically use the time stamps didnt really adhere to much as I have my own stretching stuff but the meditation was great dont really know any mindset changes yet will update
grateful for this. Thank you.
Thank you for doing the work and creating this meditation. Please keep making
Awesome video. I need to record my own morning routine to match what works best for me.
Amazing video, thank you for this
Thank you for your efforts. I appreciate it. You are a good man.
Thank you for this wonderful routine ☺
I think of my dear Father who was a man or Orfer and discipline which I fall so short in. I will think of him looking over my shoulder RIP
I like the concept of this. Also watched a few of your other videos. You've gained a new subscriber.
Your voice is legendarily good
I LOVE this...thank You💝
I'd just slide getting dressed down between stretch and meditation.
Thank you so much for this.
This is what i needed🤩
Very cool, Man.
I just found it. Can't wait to observe how my life will change
please make more of these videos!
Does anyone know How could I set this as an alarm? Any help would be soo appreciated .
Open the browser (not the app!) on the phone you use and search for this video. (This is needed to copy the link of the video, since you can't do this on the app)
Once copied, search for "TH-cam to MP3" in google.
Now paste the link to the youtube video you just copied and it will do the rest.
Now that you have the audio for this video downloaded on the phone in an MP3 file, go to settings.
Now under alarm settings choose the MP3 file as custom alarm sound and its done.
This may vary from phone to phone but this is how i would do it
Thank you!
Great video.
However, I find the background music distracting during the meditation.
Could you please post the meditation part without the music?
Thanks.
Brilliant, thank you.
Using this in 2021!
Thanks
Thanks very much for this! I use it daily and will donate today. Since you mentioned feedback, it might be good to have versions of this and the evening routine that included a shower. Regardless, I appreciate you making these available.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to include it in the next one
Thank you for this ! Will be trying this out over the course of the next few weeks ! / ID on the track @ 2:40 ?
First day completed - really noticed how tight my body and how full my mind is - looking forward to the night version !
@@JMotiveMU Excellent. Keep it up and watch the changes over time
Second day completed
3rd day completed although later due to waking up later.
Failed the last few days due to my routine being interrupted. Will start again tomorrow morning as I did feel a considerable amount happier when doing this routine.
thank you
Would be great as a file on my phone. So I could put it as alarm!
At what time do you wake up?
Thank you so much! This is incredible!!! Any chance there's a written transcript available?
27:25 after recognizing this, what is the stoic thing to do? I know they cannot harm and implicate my person, but do i left them alone , not engage, and not reason out where they are wrong?
Genuine question. Coz i am going through this. Help.
