- Join us in the shop as we mate the built 4l80 to Mike's 6.0 for the last time and drop the combo back into the LSe90.com 1 series! PLUS, new bumpers and carbon bits, and we work on completely plumbing the car while dealing with some space constraints.

For sure my next build I have been dreaming of a ls e90 in my driveway
Dudes that 80 is TUCKED up in there. Do you guys have a car with a 4l60 installed or just the black car with the glide? Wondering the 4l60 is even worth installing. Nice work on these videos.
Depending on HP a mildly built 4l60 can last a long time to be honest, plus they’re cheap cheap
Can't wait to see if you were able to utilize factory A/C control head for the Compressor.
Fbody compressor work using factory bmw controls in the car, Mikes Can box makes the gauges work and provides an input for the a/c button to function like normal.
Great work guys. Keep it up!
Love you guys you have helped so much in my decision to swap my 335i I always know who to turn to when I’m having trouble.
Awesome work guys!! I have a xdrive e90 that I can't wait to do this to!!
I’m wanting to swap my 2008 BMW X3 any tips on engine mounts, will anything from a 3 series match up or am I on my own…
Basically on your own there, we have ppl who have swapped X5’s…they are in the Facebook group and could prob offer some support.
Next build for sure gonna do a Holley hi ram some solid lifters get that 0 lash for high revs trick flow heads comp turbo cam manual transmission gonna be a car build for sliding not in line racing I can’t wait just saving money and parts at this point
Loving the intro music 🤘🏻
I have a 2010 325 xdrive that I'm putting an ls with an auto transmission in. What do I need to do to the front end since it has those little driveshafts going to the wheels?
Just use the outer cv from the axle with the axle nut to keep the hub bolted together.
@@lse90garage thanks! And thank you for the quick response!
If i ls swap my e93 will my hardtop convertible still work?
Yes
Any update on E60 mounts?
This month. Beta tests fits all confirmed.
Currently several sets are out with customers confirming fitment and no clearance issues, once Mike is satisfied there will be a preorder done and then they’ll be available regularly on the site after that. For more current updates We recommend following the Facebook group as everything is posted there first. Search for Late model E9x E8x LS Swap Tech
Excellent, thank you!
16:01 What exactly is that clamp holding up the shift rod? Did you just make that or adapt an OEM part?
Just something we made at the shop.
Made it. Something I'm working on selling a Billet version of.
@@lse90garagepart @@lse90garagesed to hold the rod housing? Hard to tell in video, but is it a piece of pipe w/ the small tab clips holding it in place? I tried making one from the stock BMW rubber mount , but it has too much deflection and is inconsistent in shifts
@@Bahookers the one he made in the video was just a bushing, that fit over the shift cable, then he ground it short enough so that you could still get the factory c clip locked in, then welded it to a piece of steel bar stock and drilled holes to catch the trans pan. Making the front of the cable connect to the GM shift lever on the trans was a whole other ordeal
Have you released the 5 series mounts yet?
Sometime in October possibly, right now LS fest East is the focus
Can you email me when they are available? Jasonjenningsconstruction@gmail.com.
Is it normal to have the e85 sensor on the return line?
Are those corvette Accessories??
F-body
So these are in the video, however it’s a little confusing because 3/4 of the way through the footage, Mike decided to go turbo, so we’ll cover the changes in the next video and correct everything
So going auto looks like more of a pain. lol
First lol
