The vid & figures don't do this car justice. The torque curve is pretty much flat & monstrous which makes the performance effortless. The quality of the install is awesome, everything is properly thought out & works as it should plus looks stock at a glance. It's a genuine daily too - not something which can be honestly said about swapped cars! Craig is indeed the man when it comes to this type of build. Top job.

@6:02 if the work didn't speak for itself already, his response to doing a "proper" burnout this early in testing is legendary. Always do proper inspection and testing before totally thrashing something especially with this level of dedication poured into it.

Wow, my 2 dream cars were always the e92 m3 and the 03-04 mustang cobra. This M3 is like the perfect mixture of both, the look of the m3 and that supercharger shine like the cobra with 650hp, jeez. I’d never get rid of that M3 if I had it.
What I ended up hating about this specific M3 is that the owner sold the M3 (but kept the motor) and put it on a really early Aston Martin Vantage (the 4.3L Vantage). So, it no longer exists... sadly.
Personally love BMW interiors and overall build quality. Owned an E39 M5 for almost 12 years and with a few problems here and there but that's the only car I've ever hit the rev limiter on a consistent day-to-day basis; you just can't hear a thing once you close the doors. This seems like the perfect marriage in my mind.. and though American car quality has improved, you still sit in most of them and think... "wow, there's a lot of plastic in here". Definitely improved with the latest generation Vette/Stingray for instance, as that was always a sore point with those.
Anthony Garcia Nah I don't believe this, i also don't believe how people say, "The S65 engine blows up a lot" Legit the engine makes an awful noise when your bearings are wearing down. And legit you have to sit there and listen to that noise for a long ass time before it spins a bearing. Like a big ass window of time to where your just being careless with your engine. Your car also sometimes goes into limp mode when it starts.
The word gutless and his facial expression lol I feel the same way. I love the sound and performance of my M50b25tu but the gutless low end torque makes me hate it as well.

They popped in a Ls V8, they had an adapter plate and used the dame gear box, it was 360BHP more than tasty then they super charged it. Mental!!!!! Love builds like this!!!!!!

The car now has a different engine (LS3 supercharged) But the LT4 was put into Craigs Aston Martin which you can see on our channel 👍

No problem. Yeah I think it's just handling can data, but obviously needs some inputs.
It would be interesting to find out how these engines would cope if paired with a double clutch gearbox like an M3 with DCT.

The BMW engine makes 600hp at almost 7k rpm and the lt4 makes 650 at like 3k rpm lol. Big difference.
Phillip Gagliardi makes 650 torque at 3600.

The LS3 makes 430hp stock. If you like n/a LS engines, Mast Motorsports makes LS7's with 650hp to 800hp.

I don't think Craig ever did no, but as it had an ESS Supercharger on the S65 before I wouldn't expect the weight to be much different.
The engine in the e92 M3 is literally the only thing that stopped me buying one. If they had a LS or LT based v8 id buy one in a heard beat!

What was used to control the gauges, fan etc? M-mod ecu? I didn’t understand the exact name unfortunately :/ and transmission wise still factory?
An Emerald ECU that's currently running alongside the GM one that's running the engine. The transmission is GM to match the engine.
How does the lt4 affect weight? It's gotta be heavier then the og.

The CANBUS is translated through a separate ECU.
Is that for specific years? I was told the 2011 to 2014 does not have a separate ECU that control the gauges.
