Hell yea man!! Such a badass build, these cars are made for the LS, with Michael Pages mounts it's a straight forward swap. Draysen is doing all the tuning on my single turbo LS e90. Great stuff!

I love the factory platform of the car but couldnt imagine it making near what a LS or even a stock coyote can make. but im one of those ppl that love when cars atleast use a swap or engine from the cars company. LS swaps are getting a little played out. slowly but surely people are going to the ford 5.0 coyote for swaps. 1200whp is capable with just boost and fuel. No heads No cams No pistons No rods No opening the engine. go built motor and they are making as high as 2500hp on factory blocks. i just love fast stuff i dont fanboy anything. But i have slowly started respecting what the coyote is capable. I was always a import guy and respected the hell out of what a 4cyl dohc vtech honda engine can do. Coyote is like 2 of the put together.
@@carculturenation2166 never had it on a dyno. On the old motor I ran it at like 33 psi on the 68mm before I lifted the head and spun the hub. Was pretty competitive with turbo ls cars on about 25 psi. Never lost to a supercharged mustang

Darton dry sleeved n54 block , full 11mm headstud conversion, built bottom end by me and my buddy, stock head, Spec twin disk clutch , tial wastgates and gfb bov (maybe 1of1 on a n54). 12 injector setup with dual walbro 450s . I think that about sums up most of it. Pretty spicy on 35 psi 😉😎
Iv been seeing more people mate dct’s to wild engines. There was a guy in the UK who has a mk4 Supra with a dct. The big bearded guy screaming while the girl was just chillin 😂😂

No heads No cams No sleeves No pistons or rods Biggest thing no opening the engine unless you want bigger power which built coyotes are make up to 2500hp on factory block. This thing is a beastie setup.

@@draysenmead216 there are N54 with 4 digit power numbers out there. Just look around. If a 2J can make big power then eventually the N54 will catch up.

I have a 2009 n46 engine bmw 320i in India, and i want to build a car like yours on a budget, have been looking at ls engine swap, and hanging out on ebay for it. Everything gets expensive for me as i have import duties and misc costs just to get the engine and other things here. Wish you could guide me
When he said he’s surprised the trans is still alive, not to sound like a cocky prick, but BMW DCT’s are tested tride and true to handle 1000ftlbs of torque on the stock gear set, because over in Europe people have built F10 M5’s to 1000hp and 1000ftlbs of torque and here in the US with the F80 M3’s at 1000hp with just a DCT clutch and clutch basket upgrade
Oh sure, sounds good doesn't it? Cheap horsepower, good "bang for the buck" they say..... That is till the never ending maintenance ruins all the fun. Some certainly have years of trouble free fun driving a decent amount of miles, but others have found the N54 to be a nightmare of never ending problems. Drains your wallet and your joy because it's never running good for long!
Hey man i have a 2008 e92 335i.. i had some people work on it who completely jipped me and left me with more issues than i started with. You guys got spare parts that could help a brotha lol
what a deceiving setup.... I can see it's an LS swap but the sound is between Mercedes and BMW, low rpm sounds thicc like a Merc but high rpm kinda sounds like BMW

Send it to Seems Legit Garage they do full HTG GCU packages on E9X/F8X DCT transmissions so its all plug n play just needs tuning

It's obviously worth the leaps and bounds your set up has after wards. Wakes up the car massively and reliability is multiplied tenfold.
