      +Melinda Ho Thanks for the positive comment. As I was competing the video and trying to include everything and keep it under 10 minutes I was beginning to worry that there were too many arrows/vectors and numbers, etc and that it would get too confusing.

    You have a good explanation, a great teacher! why is acceleration given a minus sign both in projectile and free fall

      Because the acceleration is always acting down, which is the negative direction.

      But it depend on the choosen positive direction, let say if I have choosen the positive y upward then incase of free fall the aceleration in reference my choosen direction will be negative 9.81

    How did you decide to use times from 0 - 4?

      I set up the time so that it took 4 seconds to reach the ground. So the time of 4 seconds is a given in this case.

    What do you mean by balanced and unbalanced forces

      When the forces are balanced then there is no acceleration and the object moves with a constant velocity. Balanced forces is when the sum of all the forces acting on the object equals zero. Unbalanced is the opposite and then the object is accelerating. Does that help?

    In Afrikaans we say jy is 'n yster!!
